Job Description:

Bp Castrol is looking for Business Transformation Analyst to support the development and execution of change and communication plans to drive employee engagement and alignment with the new operating model. This role will be responsible for managing operational aspects of the transformation, including communication materials, reporting, tracking, and administrative tasks related to transformation projects.

This is fixed -term employment with duration of 24 month with possibility of further extension.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support business transformation initiatives, ensuring execution aligns with strategic priorities.
  • Maintain tracking tools and KPIs, ensuring transparency and performance measurement.
  • Collaborate with commercial, finance, and operations teams to identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support the delivery of change and communication activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and transformation priorities.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and P&C teams to ensure change initiatives are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • Maintain and track headcount, governance, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure transparency of transformation milestones and activities by updating tracking tools.
  • Support program governance by monitoring risks, dependencies, and progress across transformation initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to measure the effectiveness of change and communication activities, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide administrative support to transformation programs, ensuring timely and efficient reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal communication teams to deliver messages in a structured and impactful way.​

Education:

  • Minimum Graduate calibre.
  • Degree in Business / P&C related subject desirable.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking and reporting program progress.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, data management, and reporting tools.
  • Experience in change management, internal communications, or transformation programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in project management or PMO roles is an advantage.

Skills and competencies:

  • Detail-oriented & organized – ability to manage reporting, governance, and administrative tasks effectively.
  • Communication & storytelling – ability to craft and deliver impactful internal messages.
  • Project & stakeholder management – ability to coordinate across multiple teams and ensure alignment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive business transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic, commercial, and operational priorities.
  • Embed KPIs and performance metrics to track and maximize the impact of transformation on business outcomes.
  • Ensure digital adoption and process optimization, working closely with functional teams.
  • Partner with commercial, finance, and operations teams to enhance efficiency, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, equipping leadership with tools and insights to sustain transformation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth execution and measurable results.
  • Develop and implement a change and communications strategy to support transformational change, ensuring employee alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by providing expert guidance on change management, communication channels, messaging, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Establish and oversee governance frameworks, ensuring effective tracking of program milestones, risks, and dependencies in transformation tools.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to implement transformation activities, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency in program execution.
  • Drive alignment and engagement across leadership by equipping them with communication materials, coaching, and best practices for change leadership.
  • Collaborate with P&C, business leaders, and transformation teams to ensure smooth execution of change initiatives.
  • Measure and assess the effectiveness of change and communication initiatives, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support PMO in tracking financial benefits from transformation initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Proactively identify roadblocks and risks, working with stakeholders to resolve challenges and maintain project momentum.​

Education:

  • Minimum Graduate calibre. A degree in Business related subject desirable, MBA or post-graduate qualification is a plus.

Experience:

  • Experience in change management, transformation programs, and internal communications.
  • Strong background in program and project management, with the ability to drive governance and performance monitoring.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity while driving strategic change.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of operational priorities and strategic alignment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and Excel.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

Works with the Southern Africa Marketing Manager for the effective implementation of all marketing programmes for the business to underpin market strategy and Southern Africa Business Plan delivery. The role is responsible for execution marketing initiatives in relevant channels in the region and as such works closely with sales channel leads and channel partners.

Responsible for leading our brand in South Africa & SADC countries, conducting equity-building activities such as, PR, advertising and sponsorships, as well as consumer promotional activities intended to drive market share and brand power, acquire more customers/consumers and increase their advocacy/dedication to our brand, products and offers

Key Accountabilities

  • Supports the Marketing Manager for the development of the annual marketing plans & marketing roadmap in line with the respective signed off CIP / Castrol Strategy
  • Bring the voice of channel partners and customers to the table and ensuring appropriate focus on delivery of the marketing strategy.
  • Runs the signed-off marketing activities in the respective channels (Fleet, OEM, FWS, Industrial) in Southern Africa.
  • Collaborates with distributors, channel partners, key customers and sales channel leads to build consensus, ownership for an effective and impactful execution.
  • Ensures effective deployment of ASP across activity sets and programmes in the markets.
  • Maintains great communication and partnership with channel partners to run effective B2B communication and lead generation.
  • Develops and deploys customer value added offers that go beyond lubricants.
  • Greatly contributes to channel strategies, customer segmentation and development of winning customer value propositions in the region.
  • Supports distributor marketing resources to contribute to the creation of a strong extended channel marketing team.

Education

University degree or equivalent experience in Marketing. Experience in Sales will be huge plus.
