1x Team Leader: Grants Administration (Level 08)
Salary: R397 116 – R467 790 p.a. exclusive of benefits
Location: Ehlanzeni District: Nkomazi Local Office: (REF NO: SAS/MPU/25/09)
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have a Senior Certificate plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6/7) in the relevant field as recognized by SAQA coupled with 3 years’ supervisory experience (Social Security); Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential.
Added advantage: Understanding of Grants Administration, SASSA’s constitutional mandate, relevant policies and legislation in the Public Service will be an added advantage
Duties: The incumbent will manage, support and create/ provide conditions that enable social service delivery possible through ensuring efficient and effective grants administration; Coordination and supervision o grants administration teams and components; Promote Service Delivery; Management
of staff at lower levels; and performing other generic functions.
1x Team Leader: Ehlanzeni District: Nkomazi Local Office: Preference will be given to African Male followed by White Male and Indians/ white Female respectively as at the time of appointment.
2x Senior Grants Administrators (Level 07)
Salary: R325 101 – R382 959 p.a. Exclusive of benefits
Location: Gert Sibande District: Govan Mbeki Local Office: (Ref No: SAS/MPU/25/10)
Location: Gert Sibande District: Mkhondo Local Office: (Ref No: SAS/MPU/25/11)
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have a Senior Certificate plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) as recognized by SAQA in the relevant field coupled with 3 years’ experience in Grants Administration; Computer literacy is essential.
Added advantage: A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage
Duties: The incumbent will conduct verification of grant applications (approval); oversee the quality of the administration of social grants by Grant Administrators and advise Grant Administrators on policies and processes within the grants value chain and supervise staff at the Local Office Level; Check completeness of documents and supporting documents; verify application and means test; Approve or Reject Applications; Process other grant documentation / Perform other grants value chain functions; Oversee the quality of the administration of social grants and advise on policies and processes within the grants value chain; Manage staff performance and resources as well as to ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3).
The Employment target for both positions: Preference will be given African Male followed by White Male and Indians / White Female respectively as at the time of appointment.
