Marketing Intern

The successful candidate will gain training and workplace experiece in event management, implement branding initiatives, maintain an up-to-date media contact database,reporting,development of communications strategy and programme, producing marketing plans, advertising activities,manage stakeholder relationships.

IT Applications Administrator

The IT Applications Administrator will develop, administrate and provide security and support to the organisations enterprise software systems and ensures applications operate in a manner that enables staff to meet the HWSETA’s goals for improved operational efficiency.

Minimum educational requirements:

Matric / Grade 12
3 Year IT qualification in Computer and Information Sciences, Computer Science; Information Science/Studies and Management Information Systems

Minimum work experience:

3 – 5 years’ experience in a relevant environment

WSP Manager

WSP Manager will develop and monitor the implementation of operational plans for the SDP WSP sub-division to achieve the targets, financial and performance requirements set out in the APP and SSP, and to provide support to and capacitate provincial personnel and to submit quarterly performance compliance reporting to the relevant stakeholders.

Minimum educational requirements:
Matric / Grade 12
Bachelor of Commerce with Honours

Minimum work experience:
6 – 8 years’ experience in Workplace Skills Programme
4 years management experience with a national /regional footprint

Code 08 Driver’s Licence and own vehicle

Introduction

Skills development is a national priority for South Africa and meeting the country’s skills needs requires collaboration between public and government entities, educational institutions, training providers, and private organisations.

South Africa’s economy is divided into functional sectors and each of these sectors is represented by one of 21 Sector Education Training Authorities (SETAs). HWSETA is responsible for education, training and skills development of the health, social development and veterinary sectors.

HWSETA sets out to achieve the following within the health, social development and veterinary sectors:

  • Develop and implement the Sector Skills Plan
  • Skills development planning, programmes and initiatives
  • Monitoring of education and training
  • Identification of workplaces for practical work experience
  • Support and facilitate the development of the National Skills Development Strategy
  • Disbursement of levies collected
  • Forge links with all stakeholders and relevant bodies
  • Account for the effective and efficient use of public monies in line with the provisions of the Public Finance Management Act
  • Promotion of the employment of disabled persons
