Facilitator Welder

LOCATION: TOP OF THE WORLD TRAINING CENTRE
SALARY: R351 972.00 pa plus 37% in lieu of benefits
Requirements:
PREFERABLE minimum N4 + relevant trade test (Qualified Artisan with traceable full apprenticeship background / National Diploma in Engineering as Welder + Trade Test will be an added advantage, Must have at least 3 year relevant industry experience and 3 years training experience, Must be a Qualified Assessor and Moderator with SETA / NAMB will be an advantage, Must have an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (SHE rep), Must be Computer literate, Ability to work with minimum supervision and ability to work under pressure, Must have a Medical Fitness Certificate.
Key responsibility areas:
Providing training to engineering interns according to the planned training, coordinate training tasks, Monitor learner performance, training record keeping, register learners on the system of QCTO EISA/FISA, write and upload SOR to the QCTO system, Management of workshop tools and equipment, Conduct risk assessment, Investigate and report incidents, directly report to the training Centre manager.
PL1 Lecturer: Report 191: Electrical Engineering

LOCATION: MIDDELBURG CAMPUS
SALARY: R270 498pa plus 37% in lieu of benefits
Requirements:
Grade 12 / NCV level 4 or equivalent, plus an appropriate three years Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 6) in Electrical Engineering. A qualified Artisan would be an added advantage. One year’ work experience. Sound subject knowledge and work related applications. Teaching qualification will be an added advantage. Computer literacy and ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication in English (written and verbal), organizing, planning and administration skills. Ability to plan and deliver lessons. Ability to relate to students in a professional manner and to promote a conducive teaching and learning environment, SACE registration, computer literacy. A valid driver’s license would be an added advantage
Key responsibility areas:
Prepare lesson plans and lecture students in compliance with the College Annual Academic plan, the time-table and the College Quality Management System. Must be able to teach Industrial Electronics N4 – N6, Electrotechnics N6 and Fault Finding N4 – N5. Set and moderate assessments (Pre and Post moderation). Assess students, maintain assessment records and capture marks electronically in compliance with the college policies and procedures. Monitor students ‘performance and provide critical feedback in an objective and professional manner. Create a conducive classroom environment and ensure efficient classroom management and discipline of students. Report to the Senior Lecturer and liaise with the Student Support Services.
PL1 Lecturer: Business Studies

Requirements:
Grade 12 / NCV level 4 or equivalent, plus an appropriate three years Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 6) in Finance /Accounting or related qualification. One year’ work experience. Sound subject knowledge and work related applications. Teaching qualification will be an added advantage. Computer literacy and ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication in English (written and verbal), organizing, planning and administration skills. Ability to plan and deliver lessons. Ability to relate to students in a professional manner and to promote a conducive teaching and learning environment, SACE registration, computer literacy. Facilitator: Fitter and Turner

SALARY: R351 972pa plus 37% in lieu of benefits
Requirements:
Grade 12 / NCV level 4, plus N4 with a Fitter and Turner trade test certificate (Qualified Artisan), must have at least two years’ relevant industry experience plus a one year’ training experience. Must be a qualified Assessor and Moderator with SETA / NAMB, must have an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (SHE rep), must be computer literate, ability to work with minimum supervision and ability to work under pressure. Must have a medical fitness Certificate, and must have a valid drivers’ licence.
Duties:
Providing training to apprentices according to training schedule, coordinate training tasks, Monitor learner performance against the whole learning curriculum, Conduct toolkits, gap training and trade test preparation to candidates, Management of workshop tools and equipment, and safe keeping thereof, Conduct risk assessment, Investigate and report incidents

Excellent communication in English (written and verbal), organizing, planning and administration skills. Ability to plan and deliver lessons. Ability to relate to students in a professional manner and to promote a conducive teaching and learning environment, SACE registration, computer literacy. A valid driver’s license would be an added advantage
