Purpose of the Role
To design and maintain confined label (private label) packaging that aligns with Boxer’s Consumer Value Proposition (CVP), brand standards, and packaging legislation. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and suppliers to deliver high-impact visual concepts that differentiate Boxer in the market.
Minimum Requirements

Advanced Higher Certificate in Graphic Design (or similar)
1–2 years’ experience in print design
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Experience working on a MAC
Valid driver’s license
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Understanding of flexography and lithography
Strong communication and organisational skills
Familiarity with Boxer’s brand, values and packaging compliance
Experience with packaging design and 3D product rendering is advantageous
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop creative packaging solutions for confined label products
Incorporate market research and competitor analysis into design approach
Ensure correct labelling, artwork accuracy, file formats, sizes, and colour codes
Collaborate with NPDT (New Product Development Team) to roll out brand-compliant artwork
Create design concepts, 3D renders, and manage WeTransfer briefing processes
Stay updated with industry trends and legal packaging requirements
Manage multiple briefs and update stakeholders on project status
Maintain and update artwork databases (old and new)

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, service level agreements, and trading terms.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all contracts and assist with the resolution of contractual disputes.
Collaborate closely with buyers, the Commercial Executive, and other internal stakeholders to align contract terms with business objectives.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) essential
A relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Import/Export is advantageous
At least 2 years of experience in an import coordination or logistics operations role
Solid understanding of direct imports, international shipping, customs, and compliance

Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of customs systems and Transnet processes is advantageous
Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate all order documentation and confirmations with international suppliers
Manage import permit applications in line with Department of Agriculture requirements
Track international shipments, maintain shipment registers, and resolve shipment delays
Prepare and submit SARS customs clearance documentation accurately and on time
Coordinate container release through Transnet, State Vet, and other government bodies
Submit all documents to shipping lines and monitor release timelines
Liaise with cold storage and logistics partners to ensure on-time offloading
Maintain rigorous document control and compliance with all import regulations
Provide weekly reports and audit support as needed
