PURPOSE OF POSITION

The primary purpose of the Driver role is to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery and collection of stock, while adhering to company policies and safety regulations. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, maintaining accurate paperwork, ensuring the vehicle is in a safe and roadworthy condition, and providing exceptional customer service. This role also involves assisting in warehouse operations when required and ensuring a smooth and effective transportation process at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
  • Valid unendorsed driver’s license + valid PDP
  • Proficient in English and Afrikaans
  • 2 years professional driving experience including long distance collections/deliveries
  • Clear credit- and criminal record

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive and operate vehicles to collect and deliver stock, including long-distance travel when required.
  •  Load and offload delivery vehicles in accordance with company policy and procedures. Ensure that vehicles are roadworthy, not overloaded, and safe to operate at all times.
  • Verify that returns (products or packaging) are properly checked before leaving the loading point.
  • Ensure that all required paperwork (invoices, delivery notes, log sheets, etc.) is complete and in place before departure.
  • Ensure that the correct pick-up and destination points are met in a timely manner.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and comply with relevant safety policies and regulations to ensure the safe and efficient operation of vehicles.
  • Maintain proper distances between vehicles and consistently adhere to speed limitations to ensure the safety of yourself, other road users, and the vehicle.
  • Remain vigilant and alert to all surroundings, identifying potential hazards that could impact the safe operation of the vehicle. Proactively take measures to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of yourself, others, and the vehicle at all times.
  •  Report accidents and gather information pertaining to accident according to company guidelines

  • Consistently provide a high standard of customer service, ensuring all interactions with clients are professional, friendly, and helpful, leaving a positive impression of the company.

A vacancy exists at Nashua (Pty) Ltd for a Consumables Sales Manager reporting to the Sales Manager. This position is based in Vaal.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To perform duties and function as Credit Controller.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of Grade 12 | NQF Level 4.
  • MS Office with intermediate Excel skills.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • Bookkeeping/Accounting experience will be advantageous.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Call clients on age analysis/ worksheet to arrange payments to reduce outstanding debt on the debtors’ book.
  • Contact clients to arrange PTP (promise to pay) / Perform daily follow ups on arrangements (PTP) made with clients.
  • Deal with phone-in/ walk-in client queries.
  • Visit customers to discuss payment plans.
  • Diarize and perform customer follow ups for respective dates.
  • Identify and escalate debt to be outsourced | Escalate problem accounts to legal.
  • Maintain minimum required daily call rate as set out by management / Meet assigned targets.
  • Load manual debit orders | Assist with unallocated credits.
  • Reduce monthly debit order rejections by following up on them daily/ weekly/ monthly.
  • Liaise with other departments/ branches to assist with resolving client queries where applicable.
  • Distribute invoices & statements to clients.
  • Prepare deletions/reinstatements where applicable.
  • Complete paperwork on all accounts queries for the day / Prepare manual recons where applicable.
