Duties: Manage the key performance areas with regards to Planning • Maintain a risk register • Manage processes, applications and requirements related to Developmental Plans and Spatial Frameworks • Regulate and control illegal land uses • Enforce the town planning scheme and by-laws • Implement the land use management system and scheme • Oversee the operations of the GIS section • Process and evaluate certain delegated Developmental applications • Budget and Financial control • Personnel and Performance Management • Comment on Building Plan applications • Prepare reports for the Planning Tribunal, Appeal Committee and the Delegated Official • Handle enquiries • Perform administrative tasks.
