Purpose of the Job:
This role offers graduates the opportunity to build a strong foundation in financial management by working with fund bank accounts, investments, and reconciliations. You will gain hands-on experience in preparing financial and cashflow reports, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with key regulatory bodies such as the FSCA and Reserve Bank. The role provides exposure to high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and governance, while developing your problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills in a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
Must have obtained a relevant Accounting Degree or similar (NQF 7)
Key Responsibilities:
Management of bank account justifying the bank account balance and processing all investments and disinvestments instructions timeously
Complete a Bank Reconciliation of Cash at Bank, Investments and clearing accounts for each Fund as per procedure monthly
Prepare monthly trustee cashflow reports and ensure accurate, timely payments (fees, payroll, invoices)
Compile and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with FSCA and Reserve Bank deadlines
Support audits by producing high-quality reports and managing audit processes
Ensure 100% compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Resolve queries within prescribed timelines
Embrace technology to drive efficiencies and maintain accurate record-keeping
Apply Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles in all work

Managing the HR Service desk
Maintaining Positions in People Focus
Reporting and Analytics
Prepare reward-related communication materials
Support HR Business Partners
Assist in testing and implementation of system upgrades
Assist in the preparation of data for audits
Create user guides, SOPs
Provide system training or refresher sessions to HR and business users
Help manage integrations between HRIS, payroll, benefits
Scheduling meetings for the Team
Following ups with stakeholders
Assisting with Presentations
Assisting with Project Plans and Initiatives
Monitoring of Departmental Mailbox
Tracking of delivery and consolidation of feedback received from various stakeholders
Responsible for the review and maintenance of job descriptions, headcount statistics, etc.
Provide support to the Head of Remuneration
Research reward practices and trends for continuous improvement processes
