Duties and Responsibilities

As a Service Shop Entry Technician, you will receive and monitor fuel drops, as well as perform company guide lined inspections, maintenance, repairs, and replacements on Walmart equipment, under the supervision of a qualified shop technician. Your responsibilities will also include identifying parts needed and best possible solutions for repairs on Walmart equipment, following DOT regulations.

You will make an impact by:Effectively communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities.Driving cohesion across the team while focusing on the customer.Adapting to changing priorities while staying focused on key objectives.Eager to learn and develop skills while working with Walmart qualified shop technicians.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Service Shop Technician III, you will be performing preventative maintenance and repairs on Walmart equipment, which includes everything from tractors and trailers to road trucks and shop equipment. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, maintaining, repairs and replacing major tractor advanced engine components, driveline components, advanced HVAC systems and communication equipment.

You will make an impact by:Performing advanced axle alignments using digital equipment on tractor-trailer tires.Performing electrical/wiring repairs to tractor and trailer light assemblies.Repairing trailers, including lights, landing gear, interior panels, roof repairs, floors doors and threshold plates.Provide preventative maintenance on tractor-trailer brake system components.Performing 8-point inspections on yard and over-the-road tractors.Being a power user with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) software will make you stand out.#supplychainjobs

Minimum Qualifications

3 years’ experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair to include advanced diagnostics.1 year’s experience in HVAC and diagnostics.Valid state-issued driver’s license.Brake inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.25.Vehicle Inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.19

Your responsibilities will also include identifying parts needed and best possible solutions for repairs on Walmart equipment, following DOT regulations.

You will make an impact by:Effectively communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities.Driving cohesion across the team while focusing on the customer.Adapting to changing priorities while staying focused on key objectives.Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment at a high level of safety.Being ASE certified in brakes and PMI will make you stand out.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years’ experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree, or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance.Valid state-issued driver’s license.Brake inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.25.Vehicle Inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.19.
