Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Coupa Global Middleware Lead, you will have the opportunity to work as an integral member of the Glencore’s Global and Regional Infrastructure Teams.
- You will be responsible for ongoing development, maintenance and problem solving of the integration between the Middleware (Boomi / PunchOut2Go), Coupa and the various ERP’s deployed by the business.
- The Middleware Specialist will manage and implement the regular deployment of middleware upgrades and the coordination with the various ERP teams with regards to ERP patching and updating.

More specifically, you will:

- Respond to real-time performance alerts and conduct ongoing analysis to identify and proactively address performance problems.
- Handle production support for application integration incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication with the business.

Qualifications
- A degree, diploma, or substantial practical experience in the development, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Coupa and Boomi certifications at the developer level are required; however, it is understood that these may be obtained during the first year in this role.
Competencies
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT technology field, specifically in Middleware administration, with a preference for familiarity with Boomi, SAP PI, or similar technologies.
- A comprehensive understanding of the Coupa Source to Pay platform and associated ERPs, including but not limited to SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Mincom, and others.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Systems Analytics and Reporting tools, such as Power BI, is a prerequisite for this position.

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Data and Reporting Lead to join our global Coupa support team. Data security and access controls
- Develop and enforce data security policies and access controls to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations, such as POPIA, GDPR, HIPAA or SOX, depending on the business.
Audit readiness and compliance
- Establish mechanisms for governance oversight, including preparing for and managing regular data quality and system control audits. This also includes coordinating and responding to inquiries from internal and external auditors, BU teams and regulators. Monitor and report compliance to key financial and procurement controls & policies across the Coupa platform on an ongoing basis.
Reporting and visualization
- Oversee the compilation of business requirements, design, development, user acceptance and maintenance of standard dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to facilitate operations at a Strategic, Tactical and Operational level.
Data analysis, insights and platform value delivery
- Lead the interpretation of complex datasets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational and strategic improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or Supply Chain Management.
- A master’s degree is a plus.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in a procurement, data analysis or reporting role, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility within the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the daily management of all open-pit production operations,
- Lead optimization projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives,

- Ensure all capital projects (Procurement items, Minor, Intermediate and Major projects) are fully compliant under the PMO for cost estimation methodologies including supporting Project Managers developing basis for cost estimating and cost controls from conceptual estimates to detailed forecasts for projects in execution.
- Update, implement and own cost estimation methodology in line with the Framework, incorporating lessons learned into the estimates, including relevant initiatives to simplify processes, systems and structures for all Copper Regions and Sites in line with the Group Standard.

- Create and maintain overall cost estimate database for copper capital projects including cost breakdown structure (CBS) and work breakdown structure (WBS). Enable the conversion of cost estimates into projects’ control budgets.
- Conduct, as directed, detailed project cost estimation as part of Independent Peer Reviews (IPRs) and separately from stage gate assurance across projects globally. In addition, provide input and participate into the Post Investment Review (PIR) of projects analysing the causes of cost deviations and help document lessons learned.
Experience
- Strong understanding, management and knowledge of various cost estimation and quantity surveying methods including usage of relevant IT systems and tools e.g. BIM software, Oracle Primavera 6, MS Project, Ecosys, Prism and others.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles and requirements.
- Knowledge of global project and construction market in terms of contractors, suppliers, and cost management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain objective and independent in a collaborative manner coordinating cross-functional teams (third parties, Project Services, IT, Finance, Supply/Procurement, Projects, Operations and Technology teams).
