As an Android Developer you’ll be supporting the delivery of new applications and modify existing applications where applicable based on the client’s needs, covering Design, Application development and Unit or other testing. This will help us excel at delivering scalable platforms to stay ahead of the game.
What you’ll be doing
As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:
- Design
- They work with clients to perform a needs analysis to update and modify existing applications where applicable and develop new software applications that provide solutions to client needs.
- They design new and innovative applications for their clients.
- They create different codes and run the statements through the process to ensure their working.
- The Android Developer modifies these applications as per the requirements of the organisation and the clients.
- They test the source code, develop the source code, understand the client’s requirements, design the prototypes and implement the codes to prevent any error.
- Where possible, reusable code is created.
- They maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Application Development
- The Android Developer is responsible for building and delivering scalable and low-latency services and applications for Android platforms and/or single page web applications.
- They design prototype application(s), indicate program unit structure and information architecture.
- They coordinate application plans with all relevant parties.
- The Android Developer is accountable for driving the full development lifecycle of single page web applications and/or Android application (concept, design, test, release, support, etc.) within deadline.
- Unit or other testing
- The Android Developer is accountable for testing source code and debugging code runs.
- They run tests for the application while it is being designed, to ensure there is no issue.
- This role is responsible for evaluating existing applications and performing updates and modifications.
- This role is expected to analyse old applications whenever required, to find bugs in the code, and identify missing features to find a way to adjust the new features in the already designed application.
- When they debug their applications, the Android Developer branches off the source code to make changes and then merges the code changes back into source or develops a new source code to remove the bugs.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Control and Risk Management, an exciting opportunity is available for a self-motivated individual looking to join our Enterprise Risk Management Team. Based in Johannesburg, the individual will be responsible for assisting with the administration of the enterprise risk management system and associated responsibilities relating to the duties below
What you’ll be doing
As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance and administration of the enterprise risk management system (ERMS), including data entry where required, including tracking and updating of risk registers to ensure the quality of information on the risk management system
- Coordinating and scheduling meetings, administration and supporting the Enterprise Risk Management Team with the development of training materials to promote risk awareness
- Supporting the Enterprise Risk Management Team in the development and maintenance of risk management documentation, policies and procedures
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical files related to enterprise risk management activities, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility of information.
- Supporting various risk owners and risk champions in identifying, analyzing risk and control information and to ensure risks are appropriately managed
- Support risk and control owners in accurately documenting the control environment for accurate risk assessments

The role of the Internal Relationship Manager is to assist the Senior Relationship Manager and Team Leads on shift in ensuring that priority service and administrative services are provided to our Premium Customers.
What you’ll be doing
As our Internal Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing long term relationships with our nominated high-end players with an objective of extracting maximum value and retention. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, developing and increasing Premium retention, activity rates, and revenue through exceptional service deliver with the aim of first contact resolution. This will be achieved through providing client support, proactive outbound calling, roadshows and eventing when required, collection and updating of player information and acquisition of new Premium customers. The candidate may be required to travel locally from time to time. The candidate will need to possess strong client relationship skills. They will also be technically minded, and be familiar with CRM best practices. As part of your role, your responsibilities will include partnering with the Premium Customer team, but won’t be limited to, the following:
- Dedicated and prioritised Contact Centre service to all Premium Customers queries coming into any of the Contact Centre Channels
- Support the Premium Hosts with any help they may require, which will include but is not limited to bonus calculations, comping of accounts, expediting withdrawals, prioritising deposit timeouts etc
- Manage all HVC CRM Work item queries as well as Work Items received from other departments where required and ensure feedback is provided to all involved parties

- Act as the end-to-end feedback loop to customers on any CRM Work Items where feedback is required

- Client Support and Out bounding: This can include relationship building e-mails; SMS, in app notifications and telephone calls and respective notes for the contacts need to be captured and reflect on internal systems is critical.
- Information management: Ensure that all player information and soft facts are captured and are up to date ensuring that details are captured on the applicable tools.

- Ensure that the team’s absences are logged and overtime submissions are processed.
- Coaching:
- Assist the Manager in ensuring that the team provides world-class customer experience to all customers within our Outbound environments.
- Identify and acknowledge deficiencies found with Relationship Managers contacts from escalated queries and trends picked up.
- Conduct coaching with respective Relationship Managers in line with Quality Management processes, followed by formalized tracking forms to measure improvements.
- Alert/Monitoring/Supervisory Function:
- Monitor Relationship Managers’ availability and occupancy in line with overall targets and performance requirements.
- Development Focus:
- Collaborate with the Manager in the setup, implementation, and management of Outbound channels and customer experience strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends to assist the Manager in identifying technology that can further improve our overall service offering.
- Offer an active platform to all Relationship Managers to communicate any issues and/or complaints that may affect our service offering or the business as a whole.
- Actively listen to customer feedback, understand potential pain points, and ensure these pain points are addressed in the Voice of the Customer Steering Committee.
- Provide insights for inclusion in all relevant reporting to senior management.
- Identify skills development and succession opportunities for all Relationship Managers.
- Productivity Management:
- Monitor and handle all internal query escalations via CRM.
- Ensure that all Relationship Managers on shift are meeting the desired targets and proactively work with Relationship Managers on shift not meeting the per hour interactions requirements.
- Assist with live escalated queries from Relationship Managers via email or MS Teams platform.
- Service Recovery:
- Identify trends, product issues, and process gaps that may negatively impact a customer’s experience.
- Provide insights to management to formulate standard operating procedures to drive continuous CX improvements.
- Conduct coaching and interact with the Relationship Managers to address shortfalls that will improve a customer’s overall experience.

- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Customer Service, Contact Centre or Outbound Sales role.
- A degree (BCom or equivalent) is essential.

- Perform and monitor customer care responses to our customers on all our contact mediums: call, chat, email, social media and Whatsapp.
- Participate in customer listening programs to identify customer needs and expectations.
- Provide insight on behaviours, patterns and quality compliance levels to the management team and individuals.
- Coordinate and facilitate contact calibration sessions for contact center staff.

What you’ll be doing
As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:
Participate in design of contact monitoring formats and quality standards to ensure Customer Engagement Monitoring and Insights
- Monitor customer engagement and analyze volume drivers to identify pain points, providing actionable insights for improvement to the Customer Service Solutions Manager (CSSM) and Customer Management (CM) team.
- Collaborate with the, CSSM, CM Team and Support personnel to identify Voice of the Customer (VOC) and Voice of the Internal Customer (VOIC) initiatives, offering insights and recommendations that can be implemented to enhance customer experience, in the sport and casino sectors.
- Implement and monitor active listening / tagging / reporting tools in Social Media (SM) and Social Media Customer Care (SMCC) and CXM environments to understand and improve customer needs.
Library and Social-Bot Administration
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the Sprout Library to ensure all content remains relevant for assisting customers, while ensuring consistency through collaboration with QA and coaching teams.
- Oversee the mapping of the library for efficient access by all agents, while continuously assessing bot capabilities to reduce volume and address trending customer queries through effective bot building and maintenance.
Livechat AI-Chatbot Design and Implementation
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to align customer service goals with chatbot functionality, analysing existing processes for optimization.
- Design and Development: Create and update conversation flows to ensure seamless user interactions, focusing on chatbot architecture enhancements.
- User Experience (UX) Design: Develop an intuitive user interface, conduct usability testing, and implement feedback for continuous UX improvement.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Rigorous testing to identify bugs, employ A/B testing for optimization, and validate performance and usability metrics.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Establish monitoring tools to track interactions, analyze user data for improvement opportunities, and report findings to stakeholders.
- Training and Optimization: Regular updates to the chatbot’s knowledge base, algorithm optimization based on user interactions, and implement feedback loops for ongoing accuracy.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the chatbot’s architecture, features, and guidelines, along with customer-facing FAQs.
- Ongoing Support and Maintenance: Provide user support for any technical issues, fix bugs, and engage users for feedback to enhance chatbot capabilities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Update relevant stakeholders on progress and challenges and conduct training for customer service representatives on effective chatbot utilization.
- Trend Analysis and Adaptation: Stay informed about AI and chatbot advancements, adapting capabilities to meet evolving customer needs and industry standards.
Digital Presence and Development Coordination
- Collaborate with the Customer Care Manager (CCM), CSSM and Floor Managers to ensure brand consistency across CXM, CS, Social Support and Social Media Marketing (SMM) initiatives, while remaining abreast of digital technology trends to identify tools that can improve communication and implementation processes.
- Assist the CCM in compiling insights for reporting to senior management and participate in ad hoc tasks related to the social media ecosystem.
Liaison and Coaching Support
- Serve as an information hub for coaches, providing insights from review analyses to enhance agent coaching practices.
- Deliver educational content, including engaging text, images, and videos related to volume drivers for internal and external social media communication to boost brand awareness and positive customer sentiment.
