Job Advert Summary
The Electrical Assistant will be responsible for the assisting the Electrical Technician and Artisan on the following work: Minor electrical repairs, carrying of tools, to clean up motor control circuit (MCC) rooms. Conducting electrical inspections and report any unsafe conditions to the Supervisor and/or artisan

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or N3 in Electrical Engineering (H/C).
N6 in Electrical Engineering (H/C) will be advantages.
Knowledge of Electrical tools and equipment.
Ability to do minor electrical repairs.
Knowledge of OSHA and safe working procedures

Primary Duties
Carrying of hand tools.
To clean up motor control circuit (MCC) rooms and work areas when job is completed.
Assist in electric motor testing and cable joint.
Conduct plants and pump station electrical inspections and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Assist on ensuring that health and safety adhere to it.

Grade 12
Qualified Millwright with Trade Test Certificate
At least minimum of 1 – 5 years’ experience related to the maintenance and repairs of electrical panels / wiring, PLC, potable & wastewater treatment plant and pump stations.
Computer literacy (MS office Suite)
Driver’s License of minimum Code 8
