ICASA Executive: Corporate Services

SALARY RANGE            : Total Annual Package (CTC) – R2 274,919.00

LOCATION                      : ICASA (Head Office – Eco Park, Centurion)

POSITION STATUS       : Five (5) Year Fixed Term Contract

Purpose of the job                                                                                        

The Executive: Corporate Services will provide strategic leadership and direct the Corporate Services Division, which includes Stakeholder Relations, Facilities Management, Communications and Marketing, Security Management, and Information and Knowledge Management. The role is responsible for ensuring an integrated, efficient, and compliant support function that enables ICASA to fulfil its mandate in line with relevant legislation, policies, and strategic objectives.

Key Outputs

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Executive Officer, and their responsibilities will include the following:

1. Communications and Marketing

  • Provide strategic leadership for communications, publications, branding, marketing, and editorial services.
  • Oversee the development of brochures, annual reports, strategic plans, media releases, and online content.

2. Stakeholder Relations & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead the development and implementation of integrated and cohesive stakeholder engagement strategies, inclusive of international relations.
  • Facilitate and manage relations with local and international stakeholders, partners, government departments (including DIRCO and DCDT), governance committees, the Executive Committee and the ICASA Council.
  • Oversee corporate events management, media liaison, and public engagement initiatives.

3. Facilities Management

  • Manage the real estate portfolio across all ICASA buildings including lease agreements, facilities maintenance, space utilisation, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Oversee relocations, fleet management, insurance, and refreshment services to support employee experience and operational continuity.

4. Security Management

  • Oversee physical security functions to safeguard ICASA’s people, property, and information.
  • Implement risk‑based, proactive, and cost‑effective security programmes that ensure organisational resilience, compliance, and operational continuity.

5. Information and Knowledge Management

  • Transform information and knowledge management into a strategic organisational asset.
  • Manage records management, document classification, library services, and information security protocols to support informed decision‑making and operational efficiency.

6. Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHSA) and environmental regulations.
  • Lead business continuity planning and crisis management to support uninterrupted operations.

7. Strategic Leadership & Financial Management

  • Develop and implement divisional strategies, annual performance plans, and operational plans aligned to ICASA’s mandate.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the divisional budget, ensuring compliance with the PFMA and other applicable financial governance standards.

Qualifications and Experience 

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration/Management or relevant qualification (NQF level 9).
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience at Executive level.
  • 10 -15 years’ experience in a corporate services or similar environment, with at least 5 years’ experience at senior management level.
  • Knowledge and experience of the International Relations protocol will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding and application of the PFMA and King V.

POSITION STATUS    : Permanent

Purpose of the job                                                                                                               

To support the Internal Audit Manager to execute the operational plan and to provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls by conducting value-adding risk-based audits in accordance with Global Internal Audit Standards. Assist the Internal Audit Division in the accomplishment of its objectives.

Key Outputs: The successful candidate will report to the Audit Manager and the responsibilities include: ● Audit Planning – Participates in the development of the annual audit plan; Considers all ICASA requirements, deadlines for requirements, the time needed to conduct audits, workforce availability and other elements affecting the schedule ● Audit Execution – Execute the audit as per the audit plan; Source relevant information required for analysis and testing ● Audit project quality – Quality assure internal auditors and/or audit teams outputs; Ensuring that policies, procedures and guidelines, which impact auditing, are clearly understood while determining the level of internal compliance (in terms of Quality Assurance standards (IIA, ISACA) in line with Internal Audit methodology ● Auditee/engagement management -Effectively engage and communicate with auditee, audit team, other stakeholders and Internal Audit management ● Audit Management & Reporting – Decides on evidence based weaknesses and areas of improvement to report to management; Draft audit findings of needed improvements in the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of controls, risk and governance of audit areas ●People management – Provide functional/technical support, advice and guidance and assist in the transfer of skills to audit staff; Monitor the execution of tasks and instructions to subordinates.

Qualifications and Experience:● An Undergraduate qualification in Accounting or Internal Auditing (NQF Level 7) ● Postgraduate qualification in Accounting or Internal Auditing would be an added advantage ● 3 years Management experience and 4 years’ work experience in Internal/External  Auditing ● Advisory/Consultation role to management and other stakeholders ● Experience in using Audit Systems  ● Experience in reviewing Financial Statements and Performance Information ● Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury regulations and Global Internal Audit Standards will be an added advantage ● Certified Internal Auditor would be an added advantage.
