Job Description The Senior UX Designer leads design and proof-of-concept development for AI use cases across Sage’s product portfolio. Key Responsibilities Product Discovery, Use-Case Definition & Validation

  • Convert insights into experience concepts, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.
    Experience & Interaction Design (Design-Led)
  • Own UX design for AI features: user journeys, flows, wireframes, interaction patterns, microcopy, error/edge states.

Proof-of-Concept (POC) Design & Build

  • Design and build interactive, clickable POCs that simulate real workflows and system behaviours prior to full build.
  • Collaborate with engineering/data to mirror intended logic (inputs/outputs, guardrails, model interaction points).
  • Test with internal users/customers; iterate quickly based on usability and feasibility signals.
  • Translate validated POCs into clear handoff specs and “definition of ready” for product teams.
    Workflow Definition with Engineering & Stakeholders
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment on scope, sequence, and operational constraints.
  • Document end-to-end workflow maps, API/context needs, and UX acceptance criteria.
  • Partner on technical trade-offs while protecting user value and simplicity.
    Narrative, Demos & Asset Creation
  • Produce high-quality demo scripts, walkthrough videos, and visuals to communicate value and intended experience.
  • Present prototypes and recommendations to executives, product councils, and GTM teams to drive decisions and adoption.
  • Support enablement with concise messaging that explains the “why” behind the experience.

Skills & Experience
Required

  • Demonstrated track record in UX/interaction design and hands-on prototyping for complex products.
  • Experience defining and validating AI-enabled workflows (inputs/outputs, confidence, explainability, error handling).
  • Strong collaboration with engineering/data; ability to translate experience intent into actionable specs.
  • Excellent storytelling—turns concepts into clear demos and narrative assets.
