Duties and Responsibilities
Business intelligence and trend analysis: Track integrated scorecards for work areas, operations and business groups (e.g.: Business Safety Indexes). Create and maintain graphs, spreadsheets and documents
Maintenance, management and improvement of SHE processes and systems: Create and maintain filing systems. Perform an Elementary Design Function with ISO Achiever. Ensure IRMS Database integrity and training of ISO Achiever users. Keep all risk related documents updated and filed
Functional and strategic planning: Compile a plan for SHE and Risk Departmental Activities: SHE inspections, Risk inspections, Safety training, Training and Awareness Campaigns
Management of SHE and Risk activities, audits and investigations, quality, changes and compliance: Participate in accident and incident investigations. Administer Group Personal Accident (GPA) claims. Perform general clerical functions. Conduct and participate in scheduled and unscheduled SHE inspections and audits. Duties and Responsibilities
MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engineering Operations
Ensure a safe and Healthy working environment for all employees on site.
Root Cause Analysis, and resolution.
Assist Engineering Manager/Plant Manager with Cost and CAPEX planning and management.
Create follow-on work arising out of inspections to ensure any deviations are corrected, and report to management on any critical deviations
Design, implement, maintain, or improve equipment, facilities, or systems for the plant.
Log all non-conformances in the ISOMetrix system
Manage and enforce plant compliance to relevant legislation.
Manage asset care plans on machinery and equipment
Operate computer-assisted maintenance software to perform engineering tasks
Participate in special projects in optimisation and expansion as required
Perform inspections in accordance with Legal requirements and PPC standards.
Provide guidance to technical teams on technical planning, costs, requirements, design, safety design aspects and quality regarding scheduled maintenance shutdowns
Provide statutory reporting to relevant authorities.
