POST: LECTURER PL1: Occupational and NCV programme.
REF NO: CJC/EP/005/2026 (Persal paid)
SALARY: R 270.498 per annum
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A recognized three-year Diploma/ Degree,
which must include a teaching qualification. Must be a qualified artisan (fitter
and turner) for the Occupational program and NCV. Minimum of 5 years’
workshop experience. Ability to conduct practical training. Extensive
knowledge of academic assessment and moderation procedures. An
understanding of relevant accredited occupational programs. Good recordkeeping and administrative skills. Ability to manage pressure and meet
deadlines. SACE registered.
DUTIES: Conduct in-class and online teaching. Assess and evaluate students
according to the performance standards. Develop lesson plans, assessment
plans, work schedules, and learning materials. Participate in subject
development projects. Monitor student attendance register and intervention on
student absenteeism. Manage and administer teaching and learning activities.
Provide student guidance and support on subject-related matters and manage
behavioural patterns.
