Entrenchment Banker
Job Description
- Proactively promote a virtual/remote relationship-based offering by being a dedicated and primary point of contact for clients in the Personal Banking segment through the provision of banking solutions which meet their needs and in accordance with the specified value propositions.
- Acquire, entrench and grow client relationships by selling suitable Personal Banking Flexi Funeral Policy products based on client needs.
- Conduct financial needs analyses and interpret client financial information to identify appropriate product and credit solutions.
- Manage and grow a client portfolio to maximise revenue while controlling risk, costs and ensuring sustainable returns for the Bank.
- Ensure full compliance with legislative requirements, quality assurance standards, and the Code of Banking Practice.
- Educate clients on product features, rights, obligations, account conduct and contract terms, including fees and conditions.
- Resolve client requests professionally within agreed service level agreements (SLAs), safeguarding relationships and the Bank’s reputation.
- Promote digital banking channels and proactively monitor account activation and usage to prevent dormancy.
Qualifications
Degree in Business Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Information Technology, BSc in Information Systems, BSc in Computer Science or relevant field of study.
Experience
• Experience in sales and relationship management of clients will be an added advantage.
• Required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced banking environment.

Job Description
To enable a positive workforce experience; interpreting business requirements in order to implement a fit for purpose learning and development strategy for the Country; collaborating with business stakeholders on integrated learning solutions which build capability and deliver the required skills and competencies whilst addressing the requirements of a transforming organisation.
Co-create the AR learning strategy as aligned to the wider Group, BL/CF to build Country strategies in order to fulfil the SLB macro skills requirement.
Foster effective teamwork, collaboration between employees, subordinates, internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring individuals perform optimally to achieve team objectives. Guide, coach and mentor, advice and counsel direct reports and other informal reports to foster excellence. Set objectives for the team and manage their performance in accordance with the performance management framework.
Facilitate positive communication to staff through appropriate structures and systems while gaining a deep understanding and knowledge of the learner (know your learner), and apply creativity to craft learning (where
applicable) to deliver stimulating and long-lasting learning experiences to meet learning needs.
Drive a ‘quick market’ delivery strategy to ensure relevant and continuous future fit learning content to enable a progressive workforce.
Identify the country’s business outcomes and manage Country learning requirements and priorities (with line management) and identify SLB Learning experiences that will supplement the business specific learning initiatives.
Communicate the deployment of learning interventions and experiences and share defined learning needs, requirements, and capabilities with the Head: Learning AR in order to inform and prioritise learning experiences in country and leverage experiences across the region.
Keep abreast of the digital landscape, maximise the use of the digital learning content and platforms to capitalise on available learning and identify and assign skilled learning resources that meets the core and universal learning requirements.
