·ensure preparation is thorough before opening for orders
· maintain the company’s quality standards and systems, and follow directions
provided by senior Chefs and Management
· manage the well equipped kitchen, strictly adhering to all health and safety
regulations and reporting equipment breakages promptly
·produce menus and food of a high international standard
·be an active member of the competent and motivated kitchen team
·work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards
consistently and accurately.

If you have these qualifications, join our team: Matric (NQF 4), a qualified chef, great
organisation skills, energy and drive to get the job done, and a minimum of three
years’ experience in a similar position in a 4 star environment.

Our successful Hotel Executive Housekeepers, Accommodation Services Managers
and Housekeepers …
· Manage all functions of housekeeping, including rostering, assigning tasks, stock takes,
monitoring guest supply and requests, recording room losses and implementing correction
action
·effectively manage the housekeeping finance and administration including budgets, Capex
and operating equipment requirements, financial analysis, reporting, audit requirements and
guest amenities
·access and interpret human resource policies and legislative requirements for efficient
implementation
·develop and implement policies, procedures, strategies and controls for the sourcing,
purchasing and deliveries of housekeeping stock
·establish and drive action plans that ensure the optimal functioning of all housekeeping
operations
· manage all areas related to contractual arrangements
·facilitate effective interdepartmental co-operation to ensure guests’ expectations are
anticipated and exceeded
·work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards

If you have these qualifications, join our team: Matric (NQF 4); computer literacy (MS Office);
knowledge of OPERA; relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage; minimum of six
years’ experience with three years gained at the level of Assistant Housekeeper
