Job Advert Summary
Electrical Engineering management support to the maintenance and production processes. Manager of the first line supervisors (Electrical Foremen). Reports to the Engineering Manager. Responsible for the care and maintenance of plant equipment in a safe and cost-effective way. Complete management of engineering projects from feasibility to commissioning. Motivates for and manages Special Maintenance. Manages outsourced services. Condition monitoring of plant equipment and root cause analysis. Track availability and acquisition of spares.
Minimum Requirements
Engineering Degree in Industrial Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical LC
Heavy Industrial or Mining Environment Experience
Duties and Responsibilities
Technical assistance to the electrical/technician section.
Guardian of process control standards (Principles, drawings, programming standards, quality assurance and safety)
Execution and planning of capital and special maintenance projects
Manage of SCADA and PLC systems
Upgrade of instrumentation/electronic/electrical system as and when required
Electric/instrumentation fault finding and repair of equipment in Plant, Packaging and Logistics and Quarry departments
Support with multiskilling in the Engineering department
Root cause analysis specialist
To act as specialist consultant to the engineering department to ensure professional care of assets (Availability and reliability at design capacity of Plant and Equipment) at all times in a sustainable cost-effective way.
Complete management of engineering projects from feasibility to commissioning
Manage outsourced services as required
Ensure compliance to relevant legal requirements and ensure safe operation of plant and equipment
Maintenance of plant control systems.
