The National Gambling Board (NGB) is established in terms of the National Gambling Act, (NGA) 2004 (Act 7 of 2004). It is a schedule 3A Public Entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act 1 of 1999). The NGB makes provision for the coordination of concurrent national and provincial legislative competence over matters relating to the continued regulation of gambling activities.

Job Description

The NGB invites unemployed graduates to apply for Supply Chain Management Internship position.

Monthly Stipend: R12,000 per month

Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates and those living with disabilities.

The appointee will be required to enter a twelve (12) months non-renewable contract with the NGB.

Please note that applicants who have already participated in an internship programme either in the private or public sector will not be considered and disqualified as the programme is aimed to provide first-time workplace exposure to our unemployed graduates.

Failure to submit all the requested documents will result in the application not being considered and disqualified.

Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to Personnel Suitability checks and security clearance. It is the responsibility of candidates with foreign qualifications to have them verified by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and submit proof thereof. Feedback will be provided to only shortlisted candidates, who will be interviewed on a date and time specified by the NGB.
