Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with inspection, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, substations, panels, and plant electrical networks.
Support preventive maintenance and breakdown response activities to ensure minimal downtime and safe restoration of equipment.
Participate in monitoring electrical loads, power quality, protection systems, and energy consumption trends.
Assist in the maintenance and testing of plant lighting, earthing, instrumentation power supplies, and emergency systems.
Support documentation of electrical maintenance reports, fault logs, inspection findings, and shutdown activities.
Work with senior engineers to analyse recurring faults and contribute to reliability and improvement initiatives.
Observe electrical safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, isolation standards, and regulatory compliance always.
Contribute to energy efficiency, plant improvement, and equipment upgrade projects where assigned.
