Purpose of the Job:
To ensure the smooth, accurate, and compliant execution of daily, monthly, bi-annual, and annual tax operations within the business. The role is responsible for maintaining compliance with SARS and relevant legislation, resolving tax-related queries, optimising tax processes, and supporting efficient business operations while building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Required Experience
3–6 years’ experience in a tax administration or tax specialist role
Proven experience working in a tax environment, including PAYE and statutory submissions
Practical exposure to SARS legislation, submissions, reconciliations, and compliance requirements
Experience servicing internal and external stakeholders on tax-related matters

Key Responsibilities
Perform daily tax processing in line with approved procedures
Compile, reconcile, and submit monthly PAYE returns to SARS, Namibia, and Botswana on time
Compile and submit annual tax reconciliations and returns accurately and within deadlines
Ensure bi-annual tax submissions are completed timeously and correctly
Resolve ad hoc tax tasks and queries accurately and within agreed timelines
Maintain strict compliance with SARS legislation and business deadlines
Monitor and minimise rework by applying training and escalating issues appropriately
Stay up to date with legislative changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders
Service internal and external clients by responding to tax-related enquiries professionally
Proactively identify and support process, system, or procedural improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance
