Overall Responsibility
This Data Capturer position will be placed in the PDoH Medico Legal Unit offices to capture data on the medico-legal cases in the respective provinces. The Data Capturer will perform data capturing and other related data management activities as assigned by the PDoH Medico Legal Unit or Head of Legal Services.
Key Performance Areas:
- Capturing medico-legal cases data onto the PDoH Medico Legal Unit prescribed platform.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly medico-legal data for reporting.
- Carry out filing and other medico-legal administrative duties as required by the PDoH Medico Legal Unit Managers or Head of Legal Services.

Qualifications and Experience

Overall Responsibility
The radiographer with quality control experience will be responsible for a high standard radiographic chest x-ray imaging, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for reading images whilst ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and linkage to appropriate services. The radiographer with quality control will also be responsible for performing quality assurance processes as stipulated in the regulations.

Overall Responsibility
The role of the Medical Officer (MO) is to provide clinical oversight on the management of TB (DS and DR-TB) patients including comorbidities with HIV, COVID-19, chronic lung diseases, diabetes. This includes capacity building, clinical audits, ADSM, and supporting the DCXR teams. The MO will report directly to the Program Director (PD) who will approve plans and monitor progress against targets. In addition, the MO will work closely with the district/ subdistrict TB or HAST Managers and provide reports to the PD and DoH TB/ HAST Managers.

- Support the development of district TB program plans and ensure alignment with project plans.

Overall Responsibility
The purpose of this position is to support the TB programme by linking and navigating patients through referral processes and ensuring linkage to care. Supporting linkages between the facility and community based HTS services, working closely with the Outreach Teams. Managing and supervising the TB Support Officers (TSO’s) in TB contact tracing, household screenings, health awareness campaigns, and establishing sustainable linkage platforms within the Department of Health (DOH).

Overall Responsibility
Included, but not limited to the following activities: facilitating linkage to care, adherence counselling and support, contact screening, retention in care, and accessing new treatment regimens. The enrolled nurses will be based at various Primary Health Care Facilities and Hospitals within the subdistricts.
Key Performance Areas:
- Strengthen and support active TB case finding.
- Work closely with facilities to establish community-based structures that will create demand for HIV/TB screening, care, and treatment.
- Coordinate activities with health facilities to ensure that clients referred from the community receive the continuum of care.
- Support the community mobilization activities, including mobile outreach activities for HIV/TB prevention, care, and treatment services.
- Employ appropriate messaging to trigger demand-driven TB case finding and provision of treatment of Latent TB Infection (LTBI).
- Screen and collect sputum for diagnostic purposes.
- Facilitate the Up-down referral and Linkage of TB patients between the community and facilities.
- Ensure TB patients on treatment attend appointments.
- Report to the facility Manager on patients screened, diagnosed, linked to care, and visited.
- Update and record the patient’s information in standardized registers.
- Ability to screen all clients for TB
- Collect on the spot sputum from all eligible clients
- Generates daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of data for reporting
- Update client records with laboratory sputum results and treatment start date
- Work with the facility-based personnel, e.g. ENAs, Data Capturer to ensure that data is captured on the system and verified to ensure data quality
- Follow up on clients referred to the facility to ensure a continuum of care.
- Liaise with the outreach teams for the follow-up of clients
- Conduct community education on TB prevention, symptoms, and adherence to treatment
- Link with the community team on tracing of household contacts of all TB index cases.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the IHPS senior management team
- Supervise ENAs and TB Support Officers as required
- Support data collection and data management activities
- Collect on the spot sputum from all eligible clients
- Generates daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of data for reporting
- Conduct community education on TB prevention, symptoms, and adherence to treatment
Qualifications
- Matric plus Two-year training as an Enrolled Nurse and current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Minimum of two years’ practical experience working in the HAST program
Technical skills and experience
- Proven experience, at least two years in the treatment and management of DR-TB care
- Minimum of two years’ practical experience in nursing, post registration
- Current Registration with SANC as an enrolled nurse
- 2 years of working experience within a similar environment or any clinical setting
Knowledge and competencies
- Knowledge of basic TB and HIV management
- Experience in health promotion and health education
- Computer literacy in the Microsoft Package
- Problem-solving and the ability to use initiative in interpreting data
- Good communication, interpersonal, conflict management, and negotiation skills.

Site Coordinator (MSM & TG)
The Institute of Health Programs and Systems (IHPS) is a South African non-profit company (NPC) born out of the PEPFAR CDC Track 1 transition of the ICAP, Columbia University, Multi-country AIDS Program (MCAP) in South Africa in 2010. The IHPS mission is “to strengthen health and development systems through program implementation and partnerships”, with a vision to achieve “optimal and sustainable health and development outcomes”. Currently, IHPS is a Global Fund (GF) Subrecipient (SR) under the Aurum Institute, tasked to implement the “Comprehensive HIV Prevention Programmes for Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) and Transgender People (TG) and their sexual partners across all five districts in Limpopo Province viz. Capricorn, Mopani, Sekhukhune, Vhembe and Waterberg from 01 December 2025 to 31 March 2028. As such, IHPS seeks to recruit the positions outlined below, based in Capricorn, Limpopo Province.

Overall Responsibility
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, and in collaboration with DIC Managers, the Site Coordinator is responsible for overall leadership, management and technical oversight of Peer Navigators’ activities. In addition, this position will support district outreach activities and implementation of MSM & TG programme Hybrid Service Delivery Model including the peer-led social network strategy (SNS), micro-planning and cohort management. The Site Coordinator will also support and ensure compliance with IHPS, PR and GF protocols, policies, guidelines as well as promote standardised implementation of the MSM & TG programme technical approach across all districts.
Key Performance Areas:
- Lead and manage the recruitment, selection and induction of site level Peer Navigators across districts in collaboration with HR and the DIC managers.
- Train, mentor and supportively supervise Peer Navigators based on capacity building needs identified, working closely with the biomedical and M&E teams.
- Oversee weekly/ monthly peer navigators’ activity planning and reporting.
- Support the development of site level implementation schedules and promote standardised peer navigator protocol across districts.
- Foster correct application of proven MSM & TG interventions including SNS, micro-planning and cohort management.
- Work closely with the biomedical team to ensure adherence to national guidelines and SOPs for HTS, PrEP and ART
- Assist peer navigators to identify and report on human rights violations.
- In collaboration with the M&E team, ensure correct application of data collection and reporting tools, accurate documentation and timely reporting of the peer navigators’ activities.
- Participate actively in MSM & TG programme and IHPS management meetings and regularly report on progress.
- Convene weekly team meetings to review performance, identify performance gaps, develop quality improvement plans and provide technical support as necessary.
- Conduct peer navigators’ performance reviews in line with IHPS HR policy.
- Map and maintain a database of service providers and referral networks within and across districts, in close collaboration with the DIC manager and Social Worker.
- Represent IHPS in all relevant platforms and as assigned by IHPS Management.
- Perform any other duties as required to maintain effective IHPS operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree, Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Social Sciences, Development, Project Management or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in MSM and/ or TG programming.
- Demonstrated project/ program management experience.
- Experience of working in GF, PEPFAR or other donor funded projects is required.
- Deep understanding of South African Health, Welfare and Social Development Systems
Competencies
- Solid program/ project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Command of other official local languages (multilingual) would be an added advantage.
- HR management and capacity development skills incl. solid understanding of SA labour laws.
- Sound problem solving and decision-making skills
- Effective time management, organising and coordination skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Valid South African Driver’s License.
