What you’ll do

  • Perform the entire baking process, including mixing, fermenting, baking, cooling, and packaging
  • Follow and create recipes accurately
  • Prepare fillings, apply glazes and decorations
  • Operate slicing, wrapping machines, and other cooking equipment
  • Change ingredient quantities based on production needs
  • Manage supplies, inventory levels, and equipment orders
  • Store ingredients safely and hygienically
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bakery
  • Ensure consistent high-quality baked goods
  • Coordinate bakery deliveries and manage supply storage
  • Weigh ingredients for dough preparation, roll, knead, cut, or shape dough
  • Set oven temperatures, monitor baking, and ensure ingredient quality
  • Combine measured ingredients in bowls of mixing, blending, or cooking machinery
  • Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets, and bake in production ovens or on grills
