Requirements

  1. Relevant 3-year post matric / tertiary qualification in an engineering-related field of specialization/profession (RQV13) OR minimum of N3 + Trade Test + 2 years’ industry experience
  2. Qualified to lecture subjects in the relevant programme
  3. Experience in Blended learning, i.e., innovative teaching practices with the use of educational technology
  4. Proven computer training in MS Office
  5. Good administrative skills
  6. Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  7. A valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  1. The successful candidate will be responsible for lecturing in the following subjects and/or any other subjects as required:
  • Materials Technology L3
  • Applied Engineering Technology L4
  • Farming and Mechanisation (Electrical) N5
  • Life Orientation Skills L2-L4
  1. WPBL: Participate in Workplace exposure relevant to the programmes

Recommendations

  1. Certified as an Assessor
  2. Certified as a Moderator
  3. Knowledge of QCTO qualifications or QCTO experience
  4. Qualification in education and training
  5. Valid SACE registration
  6. TVET sector teaching experience
  7. Workplace/ Industry experience
