Property Sales Consultant

Job Description

This is a remote position.

A fast-growing property investment group is seeking a world-class, phone-first Property Sales Consultant to drive their outbound sales and appointment engine. Operating fully remotely from South Africa, this role is built for a proactive phone specialist who thrives on high-volume cold and warm lead calling, objection handling, and booking qualified valuation appointments. This position starts on a 6-month fixed-term contract with the explicit intent to transition into a permanent role based on performance and cultural fit.

This role operates on a fixed Thursday to Monday schedule (covering weekend shifts) from 09:00 to 17:00 UK time with a 1-hour daily break. In South African local time, this translates to 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM SAST during UK Summer (BST) and shifts to 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM SAST during UK Winter (GMT).

This is not a passive administrative or chat-support position. You will spend the vast majority of your day on the phone making dedicated outbound calls to warm leads, past enquiries, property vendors, and landlords. You must genuinely love being on the phone, driving conversations, overcoming resistance, and converting calls into confirmed appointments—especially over the weekend when prospective buyers and sellers are most accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Outbound Calling & Lead Conversion: Hit the phones daily to rapidly qualify warm leads flowing through Leadrocket and Salesforce across your Thursday–Monday shift. Maintain consistent follow-up discipline until every lead is booked, qualified, or closed.
  • Valuation & Appointment Booking: Contact prospective vendors to secure firm property valuation slots via Street CRM. Handle objections with poise, create urgency, and step in to rescue at-risk appointments.
  • Daily Logistics & Scheduling Command: Coordinate Viewber appointments, manage viewing calendars, resolve schedule overlaps before they affect the customer, and ensure clear handovers between vendors, applicants, and senior UK sales leaders.
  • Real-Time CRM & System Compliance: Maintain 100% current, accurate records across Salesforce, Leadrocket, Street, Viewber, and Google Workspace. Record detailed call notes and clear next steps after every interaction.
  • Rapid Team Communication: Maintain an active presence on internal communication channels, adhering to the team standard of responding to internal messages within 15 minutes during shift hours.

Requirements

  • Phone-First Sales Mindset: Proven track record in high-volume outbound telesales, appointment setting, or lead generation. You must love making calls and building rapport over the phone.
  • Thursday to Monday Shift Availability: Total commitment to working every weekend as part of your core 5-day shift pattern (off-days will fall on Tuesday and Wednesday).
  • Property Sector Advantage: Prior experience in UK estate agency, property management, or UK telesales is highly advantageous.
  • Flawless Spoken & Written English: Excellent telephone manner, natural energy, confidence, and the capability to negotiate and create urgency on calls.
  • Strict UK GDPR Compliance: Absolute discipline in handling confidential customer data in strict adherence to UK data privacy standards.
  • Contract Commitment: Availability to start on a 6-month fixed-term contract with full intention to grow into a permanent position.

Dedicated Remote Setup Requirements:

  • A quiet, private home office free from background noise.
  • High-speed, highly reliable fibre internet suitable for continuous VoIP calling.
  • Robust backup power (Inverter/UPS) and secondary connectivity to ensure zero downtime during load-shedding.
  • Modern PC/laptop, clear webcam, and a premium noise-canceling headset.
