The following position based in Auckland Park are available at the MDDA
Legal Officer (3-Year Fixed-Term Contract)
Salary: R546 269,59 TCTC per annum.

Minimum Requirements: NQF Level 8 in Law (i.e. LLB), admitted as an Attorney or Advocate, and
a driver’s license. 3 – 4 years’ experience in the legal field and 2 years’ legal experience as an attorney
or advocate.

Assistant Company Secretary (3-Year Fixed-Term Contract)

Minimum Requirements: NQF Level 7 Qualification in Company Secretarial Practice, or Corporate
Governance, Law/Legal or an equivalent qualification. 3-5 years relevant experience in Corporate
Governance and Secretariat administration, including practical experience supporting Boards and/or
Board Committees, governance processes, statutory and regulatory compliance, preparation and
management of governance documentation, and monitoring the implementation of Board and
Committee decisions and resolutions.

Salary: R1 197 305.78 TCTC per annum.

Minimum Requirements: Postgraduate qualification in Public Administration, Public Management,
Business Administration, Business Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Media and
Communications, or a related field, at NQF Level 8, as recognised by SAQA and a driver’s licence. 8-
10 years’ experience in strategy performance monitoring, implementing research programmes and
capacity building initiatives, strategies and plans; commissioning and directing research and capacity
building projects, the media, communications or development. At least 5 years’ experience at
management level and 3 years’ experience at senior management level
