The responsibilities are:

  • Plan, control, record and report on assessments.
  • Attend meetings, forums, workshops for the grades/phase as required.
  • Create an educational atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Take responsibility for any and all school equipment and stock of the class.
  • Work closely with the teachers in the grades/phase to ensure the effective running of the grades/phase.
  • Manage, plan, assist and promote teaching and learning within the class.
  • Manage, plan, assist and promote activities (sport and culture) within the school.
  • Manage, plan, assist and promote discipline within the grades/phase.
  • Assist with sport and other admin duties as and when the need arises.

English HL Teacher (Intermediate Phase) – Curro Bloemfontein

  • An appropriate academic and professional education qualification from a recognised institution.
  • Relevant experience in teaching English HL.
  • Current SACE registration.
  • IEB curriculum experience.
  • A clear criminal record.

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position.
  • A passion for children.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills.
  • An energetic, positive approach to their vocation.
  • Patience and compassion to work with children.
  • A clear criminal record.

The responsibilities are:

  • Aftercare supervisor, oversees the aftercare staff and makes sure that learners are taken care of and deals with issues with parents and learners as they may arise. Hours 12h00 – 17h30
  • Assist in the planning of after-school and vacation activities.
  • Stock control.
  • Quality control, communication with parents and other stakeholders, marketing and financial management.
  • Assist in the planning of healthy eating plans.
  • Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.

The successful candidate will start on 01 January 2025.

Accounting Teacher (Grades 9 to 12)

  • An appropriate academic and professional education qualification from a recognised institution.e.g. BEd with Accounting major.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in teaching Accounting.
  • Current SACE registration.
  • Driver\’s licence.
  • IEB experience.
  • A clear criminal record.

The responsibilities are:

  • Plan, control, record and report on assessments.
  • Be a brand ambassador for the school and the company.
  • Attend meetings, forums, workshops for the grades/phase as required.
  • Create an educational atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Take responsibility for any and all school equipment and stock of the class.
  • Work closely with the teachers in the grades/phase to ensure the effective running of the grades/phase.
  • Manage, plan, assist and promote teaching and learning within the class.
