Associate System Support Engineer
It’s fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they’re doing!System support within the I&T Frontline (POS) Team, performing various entry level duties such as monitoring of the POS estate and resolving technical queries regarding the different applications relating to the POS system. This includes management and resolution of assigned call types known as incidents, problems, known errors, service requests and project items within agreed SLAs to keep productivity and availability of the POS estate at optimum.
Minimum requirements
IT diploma/certification
1 year experience in system support
Computer literate: MS Office
Exposure to an IT customer service environment
Understanding of IT Infrastructure, POS systems and general store processes (e.g. cashier, supervisor, back office reporting) is advantageous

Monitoring of the POS estate
Monitor the status of the various POS equipment in the PnP estate and report/resolve all issues/defects found within agreed timelines
Proactively report any incident trends or risk factors occurring in the estate to mitigate them
Incident management – attend to all incidents which are assigned to the team and resolve them within SLA
Reduce call volumes by improving and streamlining processes
Communicate promptly and clearly to all stakeholders relating to the incident
Customer service approach with courtesy follow up communications
Attention to detail in incident updates and actions carried out
Reach daily target regarding incident closure volumes
Knowledge Management & Transfer
Document training material and share with team members in order to upskill and create awareness
Stay abreast of any new developments and current knowledge base within the team
Share ideas and communicate any new incidents that would potentially have high impact to the team in regularly scheduled meetings
Upskill yourself and team members about the systems and applications pertaining to your area and beyond
Vendor Interactions
Maintain good vendor relationships
Ensure that vendors are attending to incidents timeously and follow up often in order to resolve them efficiently

six-month UIF-Funded Learnership.
Applications are open until 25 October 2024.
Candidates must be under 29 years old, Must have a Matric Certificate and residing in Western Cape.
Participants in the Learnership will receive a monthly stipend of R3,500.
It is important to note that completion of the program does not guarantee job placement.
The program is SETA-accredited and will consist of:
- 10 days of theory-only sessions.
- Practical training in-store for the remaining duration, with the support of a dedicated in-store mentor.
- Monitoring and verification procedures throughout the program.
- Final assessment and moderation will be applied

Minimum requirements
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Architecture or Similar Build environment qualification
2 years post graduate experience
Experience in Retail Design
Sketchup Pro 2024 essential
Knowledge of relevant SABS codes of practice and SANS Regulations
Knowledge of the OHS Act and associated regulations
Proficient in Autodesk products, with specific focus on AutoCAD & Revit
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with specific focus on Excel and Word
Lumion experience will be advantageous
Enscape experience will be advantageous

Design Aesthetics

Ensure all design brief requirements are catered for according to Pick n Pay’s standards and specifications. All designs to adhere to National Building Regulations SANS 10400
As-Built
Update store plans in accordance with Architect issued as-built plans and/or final site inspection of works completion
Drawing Office Administration
Ensure all drawings are archived and documents are filed timeously
Keep record of all issued plans and documents in accordance with the drawing office process document
Provide support and relevant information timeously to all internal and external stakeholders
Prioritise and meet deliverables by constantly monitoring and tracking all assigned projects to ensure that deadlines are met and adhered to as set out by the drawing office process document
BIM & Family Creation
Design and develop Revit families and custom families on Pick n Pay template to specificifications.
Assit in developing and maintaining the revit templates,equipment library,and blue prints.
