JOB SUMMARY
To manage all financial and management accounting functions at Freedom Park.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • To manage and ensure accurate and meaningful financial reporting, including
    monthly and quarterly management accounting reports and annual financial
    statements.
  • To manage the strategic financial planning activities, such as budget development
    and procurement monitoring.
  • To manage the financial accounting functions to ensure the accuracy of all financial
    transactions.
  • Manage budget and Cash and Bank account.
  • To formulate, implement and monitor financial policies and procedures.To ensure that assets are accounted for and managed in accordance with statutory
    requirements, policies and procedures.
  • To ensure adherence to all finance-related statutory requirements.
  • To ensure that staff are developed and managed, and that a conducive working
    environment is created.
  • To ensure payment of suppliers within stipulated timeframes, e.g. within 30 days.
  • Provide accurate financial input in strategic reports, such as Annual Performance
    Plans and Annual Reports etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • BCom or BCompt Degree with major subjects in Accountancy, Financial
    Management, Management Accounting, etc.
  • Post-graduate Degree and/or Qualification as a CA (SA) will be an added
    advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years as a Finance Manager preferably in a public entity or related
    field.
  • Financial management in a medium to large public entity with experience in
    Financial Planning and Analysis and ERP systems
  • Strong knowledge of the PFMA, GRAP, Treasury Regulations, Policy Formulation,
    implementing and monitoring.
  • Honesty, integrity and ethical conduct at the highest level
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisation and presentation skills.
  • Dynamic, innovation, creative skills and ability to relate to people of diverse
    backgrounds

JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Reporting Specialist is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the
preparation, analysis, and distribution of financial reports for both internal and external
stakeholders. S/he will ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards,
and timely delivery of financial information to support decision-making and regulatory
requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring that data reconciliations and audits
    are performed regularly.
  • Assist with internal and external the audit process
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance in
    financial reporting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of reporting processes and controls to improve
    efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
  • Contribute to special projects related to financial reporting enhancements or system
    implementations.
  • Any Ad hoc as required and directed by Finance Manager.
    Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years post CA (SA) qualification experience.
  • Strong GRAP technical knowledge and knowledge of CaseWare
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and data interpretation.
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and disclosure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
    Knowledge
  • Strong GRAP technical knowledge and knowledge of CaseWare
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools.

JOB SUMMARY
To plan and effectively coordinates the installation, maintenance, and repair work around the park complex. This includes supervision of teams of contract workers, regularly inspect sites, execute works when necessary, maintain equipment, and assign services providers to various projects. Solid understanding of building maintenance, repairs, refurbishments.
This role requires a person who can perform maintenance in and around the Park’s
premises and on equipment that belongs to Freedom Park. The responsibilities can vary
from quick repair jobs to highly skilled tasks, including electrical installations and repairs,
tile replacement, plumbing, mechanical works, and garden manicure etc. Candidate will
be required to perform basic maintenance of buildings, grounds, furniture, equipment, and
other jobs that may be required from time to time.


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Prepare facilities for meetings,
  • Plan, organize, control and lead as supervisor by managing the contract
    maintenance staff.
  • Do maintenance and repair work – all “minor” maintenance and repair work inside
    and outside all buildings when necessary.
  • Purchase maintenance materials, tools and equipment as required and to control
    stock thereof.
  • Assist in managing the Maintenance and Repairs quality control.
  • Inspecting buildings, maintaining inventory, and scheduling repairs
  • Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
  • Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
  • Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time and to the correct
    quality.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
  • Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work
  • Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
  • Supervision of fleet usage

Maintain Company Assets (All Buildings /Sites)

  • Attends to all first line calls on equipment failures.
  • Carry out repairs/inspections to all Sites, including general building maintenance,
    basic plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry, basic masonry and other
    renovations of buildings, grounds, equipment.
  • Identify Maintenance Faults and Record the Faults.
  • Carry out basic inspection on meters and report damages.
  • Repairs effected where appropriate – light bulbs replaced, desks etc.
  • Basic repairs.
  • Manage maintenance issued stock and tools.
  • Perform scheduled & unscheduled maintenance on infrastructure assets.
  • Assist in project work & other maintenance installations.
  • Ensure that all OH&S regulations are adhered to.

Support Services

  • Provides driving services as and when required.

PREREQUISITES

  • Minimum N6 Built Environment Qualification(s) (Construction, Electrical, Mechanical,

Acquisition Management

    PFMA, BBBEE SCM Framework and King Corporate Governance.
  • Assist the CFO with reporting to National Treasury.

Support Services and Resource Management

  • Training staff in respect of SCM procedures
  • Supervise staff in the Supply Chain Management Unit.
  • Participate in Asset Management Activities

PREREQUISITE

  • Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Purchasing Management or related field, with
    Accounting ll as a subject.
  • 5 years relevant experience in commercial or government related institutions.
  • Exposure to some commercial aspects relating to Supply Chain Management
    (Supply Chain Analysis, Supplier Workshops, Price and Standard
    Negotiations).

COMPETENCY IN THE FOLLOWING
