Job description

Main Task and Responsibilities

Perform electrical maintenance and installation work To install, modify and test electrical equipment and wiring.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Perform asset care activities as required to EAMS system including accurate and timeous feedback and documentation to all stakeholders.
Maintain, install, do diagnostics and repair electrical equipment per planned maintenance and break down work orders. Consider direct environment risks
Ensure to do house-keeping at workshops by ensuring workshop area are clean at all times and vehicles.
Complete daily inspection checklists for tools, equipment and work areas. Report problems and make recommendations to Supervisors. 
Comply with disciplinary and behavioural rules and procedures
Obtain information, check for accuracy and capture data. File documents per procedure.

Comply with safety, health and environmental standards.
Identify and report unsafe and hazardous situations in work area. Participate in safety meetings.
Comply with Quality standards and deliver in a manner that support and meet operational quality standards
Contribute to team performance.

Introduction

Plan, execute and manage the coordination of the delivery of instrumentation services to all BRMO operations.

Job description

•    Micro Office and WonderWare system platform 
•    Assist with the implementation of sub-functional change management to drive transformation and optimisation.
•    Drawing from own experience or vocational knowledge, identify and recommend initiatives aimed at eliminating           waste, improved productivity and reduce operating costs within scope.
•    Identify recurring problems and derive creative solutions involving team members. Recognise and reward team             member efforts.
•    Control and assess Quality Management within scope of work to ensure standard adherences.
•    Promote and assure adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures. Identify unsafe and hazardous               situations.

Introduction

To ensure the efficient and effective utilisation of all allocated production processes, tools, and equipment by coordinating the activities between different departments based on decisions made by department supervisors to achieve the production targets for production sections underground and surface plants from the control room. To control and monitor and execute the metallurgical beneficiation process plant in collaboration with field operators and artisans; to ensure that process runs efficiently and safely according to applicable procedures. Management of product quality (i.e. control different grades of ore from underground to surface plant). Including the management of product quality deviations according to acceptable procedures.

Job description

·         Receive automated metallurgical beneficiation plant schedules from the Plant Supervisor, interpret and execute on the set current automated plant constraints

·         Monitor automated production plant operations on an ongoing basis to identify any operational or safety deviations and to take remedial action in line with prescribed procedures.

·         Control automated metallurgical beneficiation plant operations in collaboration with field operators; ensuring that process runs efficiently and safely according to applicable procedures.

·         Drive safety within operations process in collaboration with field operators, issuing a work permit to artisans on a specific piece of equipment and upon completion of work, sign back the equipment in accordance with safety protocols

·         Contribute towards the process of troubleshooting by utilising control system tools and knowledge of plant dynamics to assist the operational and maintenance department with fault finding.

Minimum requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·         Certificate: Grade 12 (with Mathematics / Physical Science) (Required)
