Job Description

Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance/Commerce/Accounting/Statistics/Cost and Management Accounting
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
3 Years of product planning experience within relevant retail environment
Knowledge of stock control and distribution
Knowledge of the retail merchandise cycle with regards to Buying
Advanced knowledge of G-Suite, Excel and the MS office Packages
Knowledge of seasonal and non-seasonal replenishments
Excellent Planning and Organizing skills
Strong time management skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies aligned with business objectives, considering factors such as inflation and profit margins.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product assortment, inventory levels, and financial performance.
Create and manage sales budgets based on historical data, market trends, and business goals.
Conduct in-depth sales performance analyses to identify opportunities for growth and risk mitigation.
Prepare and present financial reports on a monthly basis.
Oversee and mentor a team of Store Planners and Trainees to achieve performance goals.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers and retail stores.
Collaborate with buying and design teams to optimize product selection based on market trends and customer demand.
Conduct post-season analyses to inform future product decisions.
Optimize inventory levels to balance stock availability and markdown risks.
Proactively manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) to ensure financial targets are met.

Job Description
We are looking to employ an energetic and creative Marketing Coordinator at Legit, a division of Pepkor Speciality.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the Legit marketing campaigns are successfully implemented, from planning right through to production/execution. They will be responsible for the project management, costing and execution of seasonal/monthly campaigns, direct marketing, and new store opening activations and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Senior Certificate/Diploma in Marketing/ Diploma in Retail Related Course.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
4-6 years experience as a coordinator/assistant in any marketing related field in a retail environment.
Previous experience working with budgets and expense management
Previous experience in marketing coordination/production of still and video shoots
Photography & Studio experience highly advantageous
Proficiency in the latest G-Suite Packages especially Google Sheets or Excel, as well as Google Slides or Powerpoint
Excellent (verbal and written) in English, and ability to converse in a second official language would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the marketing department’s critical path to ensure deadlines are met.
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on conceptualizing seasonal/monthly shoots. Plan, cost and oversee execution of the shoots.
Manage all direct marketing including briefing in for assets and development of mailers/sms on a weekly basis.
Plan, cost and implement in-store activations and marketing initiatives for new store openings.
Managing the project timeline of all marketing campaigns.
Liaise with the Buying teams on product selection and styling guides for shoots.
Attend all marketing campaign shoots to ensure effective execution to deliver the desired output based on the concept, shot list and looks put together by the Buyers.
Ensure that all campaigns are competitively priced and in accordance to budget.
General marketing related administrative duties for the brand such as invoicing, budget tracking, dealing with suppliers.
