Job Description:
As Drill Assistantyour responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Adhere to all health and safety practices requirements and promote good housekeeping.
- Assist in the setup and preparation of drilling equipment as instructed.
- The incumbent will be co-responsible for oversight of the Drill sequence by supporting the Drill operator to ensure correct planned sequencing is executed.
- The Drill assistant may be required to transport drilling tools, equipment, and materials to and from the drilling site, helping to organise and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Assist in preparing drilling sites by clearing debris, levelling terrain, and performing basic groundwork to facilitate drilling operations.
- Participate in routine maintenance tasks for drilling equipment under the guidance of experienced drillers to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
- Assist in handling and organising drilling tools, ensuring they are readily available for use and properly maintained.
- Maintain effective communication with the drilling team, assisting as needed and following instructions from experienced drillers.
- Assist in collecting and recording drilling data, such as depth, types of materials encountered, and other relevant information, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Escalate challenges that may arise during drilling operations, reporting them to experienced drillers for resolution.
- Assist the supervisor and co-workers when required according to their level/area of competence.
- Adhere to company policies to meet goals as instructed or in the absence of the responsible person.
This role is in Mining (MIN) department on a Band P6 (B3) level reporting to the Shift Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12/ N3 Technical (NQF3)
- Valid Red Permit / DB
- Valid Dover
- Competency A (to support Drill Operators in executing safe declarations per area of work) is preferred
- SA Drivers Licence
Technical Knowledge

Job Description:
To ensure prompt processing of Group HR invoices, in conjunction with accurate timely rebilling to service users
KEY TASKS
Performance and Delivery
- Responsible for the full purchasing process
- Responsible for processing and tracking all invoices received within Group HR
- Raise all bulk and individual purchase requisition requests
- Responsible for processing the following invoices:
- Global RPO – management fee (monthly), transactional invoices (monthly), other ad hoc invoices (e.g. ad writing).
- UK MSP – contractor hours and expenses (weekly); background checking (monthly), management fee (monthly).
- Checks all invoices received for accuracy, including correct entity, cost centres / project codes, amounts are in line with agreed commercials, all required fields are completed. Once satisfied that the invoice is accurate, forwards to Procurement for formal approval and payment.
- Work with HR contacts and Supply Chain to ensure signed contract with vendors are in place.
- Ensures that invoices are processed in compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Arranging with Finance on a monthly basis, all invoices/costs that need to be recharged to the Business Units
- Raises any queries with the appropriate supplier in a timely manner and monitors through to resolution.
- Acts as the point of contact for supplier invoice payment queries and follows up with Finance and Procurement to ensure prompt payment.
- Monitors unpaid invoices and promptly escalates any overdue payments to ensure Anglo American remains within contractually agreed payment terms.
- Request and track credit notes and invoice amendments.
- Inputs RPO invoice line items into the RPO Master Tracker (Excel). Align any closed fees charged against respective open fees, identify and add correct rebill amount, then send to Finance Business Partner for rebilling.
- Follows up with Finance Business Partner, monitors and provides support to rebilling process to ensure all rebilling happens in a timely manner.
- Reconciles RPO Master Tracker to close out all filled and cancelled requisitions.
- Provides Finance Business Partner with expected RPO accruals at year end.
- Provides MSP rebill information to GSS on a monthly basis, ensures costs are allocated correctly from Talent Acquisition to Cost Centre owners.
- Supports Cost Centre owners with any disputed invoice amounts.
- Monitors PO burn on a quarterly basis, initiates requests to increase value of PO to ensure there is sufficient value left to cover invoices received until year end.
- Drives bulk PO creation process in Q4, provides input into PO amounts and allocations in readiness for the next calendar year.
- Process any vendors outside of ‘How to Buy process’ manually via GSS
- Oversee payment schedules
- Ensure invoices are met with correct Q forecast
- Procurement of Capital equipment and services in line with costs, delivery and Supply Chain requirements
- PO, budget & reconciliation management
- Accountable for supplying monthly reports
- Forecasts to finance team on, projects & budgets
- Year-end accruals and communication to various cost centre owners
- Onboarding of new vendors
- Identify when PO’s are coming to an end
People & Teams
- Monitors inbox (including separate MSP inbox), ensures emails are acknowledged and actioned as appropriate.
- Acts as the first point of contact for any invoice-related queries from suppliers, hiring managers, HR and Finance.
- Escalates any issues or payment delays to the appropriate person.
- Facilitates provision of approval information.
- Supports Global Head of Talent Acquisition and RPO Manager with invoicing and rebilling data for ad hoc reporting requests.
- Support the identification & implementation of improvements to make the process more efficient
Compliance
- Maintains a spreadsheet of all cost centres, project codes and approvers for the UK MSP. Liaises with HR and Finance Business Partners to identify any updates needed, ensures changes are communicated to the MSP promptly to support invoice accuracy.
- Undertakes spot check audits on Talentsource VMS and SmartRecruiters ATS to ensure that invoiced amounts correlate with information in the ATS/VMS.

Qualifications:
- 3-year tertiary qualification in Finance
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in an Accounts Payable or similar role, where key duties included invoice processing, cost allocation and rebilling.
- Experience of using data to tell a story and provide insights.
- Experience in a multinational, matrixed organisation.
- Awareness of GDPR and requirements to protect personal data.
- Experience reviewing processes and recommending improvements to improve efficiency.
- Experience working within a function other than Finance, such as HR or Supply Chain.
- Intermediate Excel – proficient with data entry and presentation, filtering and sorting, pivot tables, charts, VLOOKUP, data tools, formatting.
- Experience of working with vendor management systems would be preferred
- Familiarity with SAP preferred.
- Strong file – document management
- Good understanding of audit trails and history
- Advance knowledge of MS Outlook

Job Description:

Job Description:
As a Shift Coordinatoryour responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Job Description:
To manage and coordinate the planning, associated resources and scheduling related to the scope of works executed by the In-Port Team ensuring that the schedule is executed safely in the most cost-effective and expedient manner.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Development of integrated schedule plans:
- Ensuring alignment with group scheduling standards
- Ensuring alignment with other key elements of the Project e.g., Safety, Risk, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Cost Engineering
- Development of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Development and maintaining of fully integrated complex EPC and EPCM Project Master Schedule for monitoring and controlling against tasks, milestone and deliverables:
- Preparing a Basis of Schedule

- Apply critical path and critical chain methods to the schedule

Financial Accountant

Company Description:
At Element Six we are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our dynamic, global team. In this role you will be responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting for entities within the Element Six Group along with the consolidation for the Element Six Group. You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of work and strong internal controls over the reporting processes.
This role will report to the Financial Accounting Manager in the UK but work very closely with the finance business partners and operations teams, along with the wider finance team. This role will allow you to develop relationships across Element Six. You will also work closely with the De Beers Group Finance team in London for the submission to our shareholders.
Job Description:
Duties and tasks
- Direct responsibility for the balance sheet, financial accounting records and group monthly reporting requirements for specific Element Six Group entities including month-end journals, allocations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Regular balance sheet reviews to ensure that all items are accounted for under the Group accounting policies
- Ownership of all tax reporting requirements for specific Element Six Group entities
- Preparation of the monthly consolidated results including uploading of global site submissions, posting consolidation journals and the monthly, half-yearly and annual submissions to our shareholders
- Responsibility for the preparation of the annual consolidated financial statements for the Element Six Abrasives Group under IFRS and the statutory financial statements for specific Element Six Group entities
- Ownership of the audit process for the Element Six Group, Element Six Abrasives Group and specific statutory entities
- Continuously enhance processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, process documentation and a robust internal control environment
- Ensure compliance with all Group policies including Health & Safety
- Preparation and submission of department of statistics returns and support company secretarial duties
Qualifications:
Criteria skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative at a site, prioritise tasks and work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Ability to work alongside a global team to develop and implement standardised, streamlined processes. Experience of process improvement or automation advantageous
- BCom Finance, Accounting Degree or Chartered Accountant qualification with some experience of consolidations
- Enthusiastic, process driven accountant with a proactive approach
- Intellectually curious and willing to critically challenge and engage with the business
- Ability to apply familiar concepts to new situations
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Strong data analytical skills, Power BI skills highly advantageous
