  • Assist the SHHEQ Department to:

  • Compile and maintain operational SHHEQ files for existing and new clients / projects
  • Raise SHHEQ awareness
  • Keep registers and schedules for:

People Management Officer (Longmeadow)

Afrimat is seeking the services of an experienced People Management Officer to take on all operational People Management tasks for Afrimat Longmeadow . The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all people management functions and will report to the PM Manager.

Minimum Qualification/Experience:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferably a degree in People Management or Industrial Psychology
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in generalist People Management-related functions and experience in the mining industry with experience on the Social and Labour Plans would be advantageous.
  • Language profeciencies: English; Afrikaans and Setswana would be advantageous
  • Perform Generalist PM functions, a.o. Organisational development, Learning & Development, Administration, Employee Relations
  • Ability to address employee relations professionally, consistently, fairly, and with empathy.
  • In-depth knowledge of people management best practices
  • Experience & knowledge of People Management Information Systems (SAGE 300) as well as BEE123 would be advantageous

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
