General Worker

Location: Stellenbosch, WC, South Africa

Applications are invited for the above mentioned position to be based at the House of JC le Roux Production. The successful applicant will report to the Cellar Controller.

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

•    Receiving and dispatch of product 
•    Drawing of samples
•    Wine adjustments
•    Blending activities
•    Filtration of wines
•    CIP and taking of swabs
•    Stocktaking
•    Housekeeping
•    Other ad-hoc duties

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

•    Minimum Grade 12 
•    A forklift license will be an advantage
•    SKOP 2 will be an advantage
•    Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a cellar environment (JC Le Roux will be ad advantage)
•    Be able to work on heights and confined spaces
•    Be able to work under pressure
•    Be able to work shifts
•    Must have reliable transport to and from work 
•    Be able to overtime and weekends
