Introduction

MAIN PURPOSE To drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service in a specialized Wine, Beer and Spirits environment

• Merchant skills

• Training skills (this will be for the customer assistants in the store so not necessarily formal classroom training)
• Ability to communicate with Head Office liquor team
• Able to understand liquor strategy and translate to operational/customer

 General:

Employment Type – 12 months Limited Period Contract

About wo work in a shifted environment Monday to Saturday

Fixed salary 

Minimum requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in liquor retail or hospitality field

Preferable – has a form of wine/ sommelier/mixologist qualification

(Eg Wine Spirits Education Trust, Cape Wine Academy, Sommelier SA Association)
