| Key Responsibility Areas | Supervise the activities and the work process flow of the team of staff assigned. Manage staff in the section/team. Ensure that accounts are correct and despatched timeously. Process or authorise adjustments at a supervisory level. Ensure that correspondence is replied to promptly and correctly. Participate in the maintenance of the computerised billing programs. Attend to consumer and departmental queries. Attend court hearings and prepare relevant documentation. Promote the use of credit control and monitor security of guarantees held. Promote the concept of continuous improvement in the work processes. |

Complies and adheres to testing of financial regulations and accounting policies of the Council. Co-ordinates, monitors and examines all tariff reports and prepares management accounting reports. Undertakes asset management responsibilities for the Cluster. Reviews and responds to various statistical returns and statistics. Co-ordinates the JDE Training requirements of the Branch and liaises with JDE Business Consultant with regards to enhancements and upgrades. |
