CIMA Bursaries for South African Citizens

Unemployed Finance Graduates & Unemployed CIMA Students at CIMA Management Level students are invited to apply for CIMA FASSET Bursaries.

Qualifying Criteria:

1. Must be a South African Citizen. 

2. Must be Unemployed.

In 2024, we will be considering Whites, Indians & Coloured’s irrespective of provience of location.

Qualification qualifying criteria:

You should be either of the following: 

1. Current CIMA students at Management Level  – (Doesnt matter if you have outstanding OT Exams not passed & you can apply even if your account has lapsed). Program starts at Management Level ONLY.

OR

2. New to CIMA Students: If the CIMA Exemptions Calculator gives an entry point at the Management Level under CGMA Finance Leadership Pathway. Check your exemptions here: https://www.aicpa-cima.com/exemption-calculator/professional 

ALL Applications should be submitted via this form. ONLY Shortlisted Candidates will be contacted. 

If you are an unemployed University Graduate – enter your highest qualification details including the year of graduation.

Upload Documents (ALL *Required):

Certified Documents must not be older than 3 months – Ensure you submit all documents at once. Applicants who fail to submit the required documents or non-certified documents will not be shortlisted. All documents should be uploaded on this form – no emails accepted.  

1. *Detailed CV

2. *An unemployed signed affidavit from SAPS 

3. *Certified Copy of SA ID  

4. *Proof of Address &

5. *Education Documents Required: 

a. If you are a University Graduate:

-Certified Qualification Certificate and

-The Academic Record Transcripts 

(both are required). 

If the Certificate has not been issued due to graduation pending, submit a certified letter of completion/congratulations letter from the university. 

b. If you are a member of another Professional Body – a Certified Certificate from a Professional Body including a letter of good standing i.e. members of SAIPA, ACCA, etc.

c. If CIMA Existing Student – 

– AICPA-CIMA Student number. Print out/screenshot and upload your profile page where we can see your AICPA-CIMA Student number from the AICPA-CIMA Website (proof of CIMA registration doesn’t need to be certified).
