Purpose Statement
- To be the custodian of the integrated marketing plan, understand Capitec’s market and clients’ needs and act as an advisor to internal business stakeholders.
- To meet business objectives through acquiring and optimising quality clients.
- To develop effective integrated marketing strategies and plans in order to deliver the right message, to the right client, at the right time and on the right platform for our products and services.
Experience
Minimum:
- 5+ years marketing experience in a large, complex and client focussed organisation
- Managing a team
Ideal:
- Experience gained preferably in an FMCG, retail banking or services industry.
- Cross functional project coordination / management
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Management
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
- A relevant post graduate degree in Marketing or Business Management

Purpose Statement
- As the Product Head of Client Engagement for all Capitec enterprise products, you’ll serve as the visionary architect of unparalleled digital personalized experiences, shaping the future of financial services and touching the everyday lives of 21 million clients in South Africa. Your journey will be one of strategy, innovation, and leveraging Martech expertise in client data, AI, and engagement platforms, redefining digital experiences and client optimization in the financial services landscape. Leading a team, you’ll pioneer a new era of digital banking engagement, where every client interaction is personalized and meaningful. Your MarTech proficiency will be instrumental as you orchestrate with platforms such as Salesforce and AWS, setting the stage for agile deliveries that propel us into the forefront of the financial services landscape.” Responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a forward-thinking roadmap for Client optimisation, Service excellence and Precision marketing using engagement platforms and client data assets.
- Client Data: Leverage client data and AI to transform information into personalised, meaningful client experiences.
- Tech platform mastery: Oversee the development lifecycle, integration and management of tech platforms, with a focus on Salesforce, Client Data Platforms (CDPs) and AWS.
- Agile Leadership: Drive agile delivery to ensure effective client-centric use case development and delivery of ground-breaking initiatives linked to business growth objectives.

Knowledge and Experience
Minimum:
Experience
- 10+ yrs experience in business management at a senior level in an innovative high performing environment
- Proven experience in utilizing MarTech tools and platforms to drive marketing initiatives and enhance customer engagement
- 5+ years’ experience managing products.
- Business and product vision; has had ownership responsibility for a product previously.
- Product management where there are multiple initiatives with competing priorities and so experience in influencing multiple diverse stakeholders, both business and technology.
- Working at strategic, tactical and technical levels.
- Career experience to include some time in one or more technical roles.
- Communicating with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success
- Earning trust across different levels and multiple groups of a large organization
- Usability studies and/or customer research principles and methods.
- Client development and product validation through customer feedback.
- Using influence and relationships to drive and achieve objectives.
- Leading and guiding multi-functional teams with a single product operating model
- Leading and having oversight of remote / hybrid teams.

- Strategic and commercial thinking; able to think about problems from a business perspective using people, technology and product input.
- Business acumen and systems thinking; able to take a ‘big picture’ view, assess, make a logical, sound decision and influence others to achieve objectives.
