Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor of Administration in Licensing Practice
Advanced Diploma in Traffic and Metropolitan Policing
Qualifications required:
At least an NQF 8 which is a Postgraduate Diploma or an Honours degree in the above-mentioned fields.
3-5 years of lecturing experience in higher education, particularly in Traffic Policing, Metropolitan Policing, or related fields.
Experience as a Traffic or Metropolitan police official or with agencies like the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) is an advantage.

Assessment Development:
Design, set, and mark assignments and examination papers.

Student Interaction:
Conduct and facilitate contact sessions, creating an engaging and interactive learning environment for students.
Student Tracking and Graduation Coordination:
Oversee the faculty’s student tracking processes.
Approve students for graduation, monitor student portal use, and assignment submission.
Quality Control:
Ensure the quality control of modules and programs allocated.
Maintain alignment with legal accreditation and industry standards.
Committee Participation:
Engage in various faculty and institutional committees as required.

As the Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing critical blockchain infrastructure, including blockchain nodes, Linux and Windows systems, and complex network configurations. You’ll implement advanced monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus to ensure the stability and performance of the infrastructure, while also administering key systems like CRM, helpdesk, and email. Minimum Requirements:

Proven hands-on practical experience with self-hosted infrastructure is more valuable than formal qualifications.

Extensive experience running Docker containers in a production environment.

Blockchain Node Management

Build, maintain, and optimize clusters of blockchain daemons and consensus nodes with a focus on scalability and redundancy, utilizing containerized and virtualized environments.

Linux & Windows Administration

Manage and secure Debian-based Linux and Windows systems to ensure top-notch performance and reliability.

Network Administration

Oversee and manage SDWAN, VLAN, LAN, and firewall configurations to maintain a robust and secure network infrastructure.

System Administration

Administer CRM, helpdesk, and email systems, ensuring smooth internal communication and efficient operations.

Monitoring & Stability

Implement and maintain monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus to ensure the stability and optimal performance of blockchain infrastructure.
