The Pharmacy Stock Clerk is responsible for optimal inventory
administration throughout the hospital by being actively involved in the
maintenance, movement and the accuracy of stock levels. This individual
will apply their understanding of stock and their eye for detail to identify
possible discrepancies, balance stock levels against the system and
effectively resolve any differences. The Stock Clerk will further be
responsible to maintain good working relationships, fulfil work requests
and ensure the overall neatness and cleanliness of their respective are of
responsibility.
The incumbent will be required to work in various areas of the hospital and
to multitask effectively based upon periods of peak activity in the business.
This individual will not be allocated to work only in one division of the
business but will provide the required assistance to different hospital
divisions in line with the Netcare strategy of Person-centred Health and
care.
The support provided will depend on hospital requirements and therefore
the individual may need to adhere to work requests that may change
continuously based on business demand and to adhere to variations in
working hours to increase business productivity.
Inherent Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 certificate

Role Summary
The Person Centered Care Officer will assist with improving the efficiency

Person Centred Care Officer will anticipate needs and build rapport with the

been processed. Ensure that the balance sheet reconciliations are prepared monthly and that
any reconciling items are followed up timeously. Reconciliation of all inter-company loans.
Management of head office orders and processing. Fixed Assets management. Display functional
knowledge and understanding to support with the submission of statutory submissions such as
VAT201 and IT14SD. Analytical reviews of costs and expenditure to aid EXCO and line
management in decision making, perform tasks as assigned by management.
Inherent Requirements
- A relevant 3-year B Com degree or diploma with Financial Accounting 3 at NQF level 7.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Hospital/ Financial Department.
- Computer proficiency – Excel (pivots, V-lookups, IF formulae, etc), SAP, SAGE, MS Office

Role summary
The Pharmacy Clerk is responsible for the capturing of goods received onto the Netcare stock system, collating and filing corresponding documents and producing bar-code labels.

Transmit documents timeously according to schedules
Manage associated administrative tasks
Liaise effectively with CPD clerks for supplier payment queries
Assist in management of stock in accordance to Netcare stock management policy with special emphasis
on designated stock areas
Involved in all aspects of cyclical and full stock take processes
Perform any other duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacy or Theatre Stock Controller
Assist with checking expiry dates of all stock in theatre and pharmacy store room.
Assist customers and suppliers with general queries or direct customers to appropriate individuals for
