The Key Purpose of this role is to provide leadership and expertise in all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, Facilities to ensure compliance to local and ABInBev HSEF requirements, as well as to implement, maintain, audit, measure and improve efficiency of the HSEF management system to drive HSEF performance for all functions based on the site and its satellite stations and ensure License to operate, promote a culture of HSEF excellence.

Act as a member of South Africa Agriculture HSEF LT and share proactively learnings and good practices within the HSEF network HSEF lead is responsible of site HSEF budget and has got full authority to stop unsafe activities/tasks.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Support all functions located on the key site and satellite stations (including fields activities)
  • Acts as a key member of site LT and leads the site safety committee
  • Responsible of site HSEF budget (audit, training, PPE, resources)
  • Acts as the key contact of external stakeholders (local authorities, fire brigade , policy..) and internal stakeholders (Zone Safety)

In compliance with ABInBev objectives and global HSEF policy, the HSEF lead is responsible to:

  • Define and lead HSEF strategy and road map for all activities managed by the site and satellites stations
  • Develop, implement, audit and improve HSEF processes to ensure that all operations comply with regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Monitor and track delivery of HSEF service level agreements/contracts, including those from 3rd parties, to ensure that the site’s needs are achieved at best cost and without threat to our seeds operations or company reputation
  • Ensure all relevant legal and corporate information is current and available for use as required, maintaining foresight for both legislative and corporate initiatives
  • Support and advice all leaders to help them to carry out their accountabilities for HSEF
  • Define the 5 years plan of HSEF CAPEX and approve all HSEF CapEx and major changes
  • Define and lead training, development and certification plans for site employees, including temporary and seasonal employees
  • Responsible of HSEF documentation, provide HSEF guidance considering the local regulation
  • Lead investigation & RCA of accidents and potential SIF incidents (including ‘near misses’) and dangerous occurrences and make recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and manage HSEF awareness campaigns.
  • Ensure that all critical activities are risk assessed and control measures are applied before execution.
  • Lead risk reviews and management reviews
  • Monitor HSEF performance, analyze HSEF data and define priorities for improvements
  • Define and lead audit and inspections processes (including tollers, warehouses, suppliers and growers)
  • Ensure KPI, monitoring and reporting processes are in place and appropriate for local, corporate, and legal requirements
  • Define site Emergency and crisis response and act as site EMS coordinator
  • Lead site HSEF communication
  • Define contractors management process and audit
  • Ensure the site compliance with all aspects of waste management, including registration of new waste streams and renewals

The key purpose of this role is to optimize production and allocation to prevent lost sales across southern countries using o9, while proactively identifying and communicating opportunities and bottlenecks with timely escalation to Supply Review and Executive S&OP.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Presenting a monthly unconstrained production plan solved to DC level as per LCP Requirement – 12-18 months forward
  • Scenario planning with various cost inventory levels – all scenarios solved for lost sales by DC
  • Main connection between SCD, Supply teams and Demand planning
  • Focus on long term capability, capacity and cost while focusing on protecting service level and deliver mix and enable commercial plan

  • Publish an optimized monthly long term production plan from M+2 with at least a rolling 12 months incorporating WSNP handover

DC LOGISTICS MANAGER

The Key Purpose of this role is to implement and uphold ABInBev safety standards. Manage the DC Operations so that customer service levels can be optimized and that benchmarked productivity standards are met. Implement standard operating processes in line with DPO standards. Manage VLC, ZBB and FLC budgets in line with annual flexed targets

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Safety

  • Ensures a safe and healthy working environment for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensures that legislative requirements are met in line with the Section 16.2 appointee requirements

  • Ensures that Daily, Weekly and Monthly Meeting routines are adhered to in line with mandatory DPO guidelines (OWD’s, SCL, MCL, Mandatory meetings)
  • Conducts the Daily Logistics Meeting as per the specified TOR’s listed in the DPO framework
  • Tracks KPI’s on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in line with DPO Terms of Reference. Ensures that appropriate problem-solving tools are applied for out-of-range KPI’s in line with DPO Methodology
  • Ensures that Processes are standardized via SOP’s and work standards are monitored and improved upon using Operational Work Diagnostics
  • 5S routines and improvement exercises are conducted on a weekly and monthly basis to uphold standards in Trucks and Work Areas
  • Annual Business Descriptions are developed per functional area, taking into account SWOT Analysis and key business imperatives
  • Lead DPO Implementation at both sites

The key purpose of this role is to facilitate continuous improvement in plant reliability through TPM development and maintenance /project planning.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Maintenance scheduling:

  • Using the maintenance planning system, generate the routine maintenance schedules
  • This should include required cleaning, lubrication and inspection tasks
  • Allocate resources to the schedules and generate works orders where these are indicated
  • Communicate the schedules to the production, engineering and other support teams and resolve work and resource allocation problems
  • Verify that routine maintenance schedules are being completed and that shift teams are completing autonomous maintenance tasks assigned to them
  • Complete all administration and maintenance systems tasks required supporting the management of routine maintenance schedules
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of routine maintenance tasks to the shift and engineering teams, and highlight non-compliance and problems that need to be addressed
  • Order spares for maintenance day execution and follow up
  • Follow up on outstanding spares if needed

Maintenance systems management:

  • Where necessary, take part in the commissioning of new maintenance systems, or changes to the current maintenance system
  • Manage the maintenance systems, ensuring operational and data integrity and correct use of the system
  • Plan required maintenance work using the maintenance system, generating the required schedules and associated works orders
  • Generate required maintenance reports, including SAP reports and communicate to key stakeholders
  • Capture required data on the maintenance systems
  • Data must be verified for accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct analysis on maintenance data to identify failure modes and root causes of maintenance problems, and to identify problems timeously
  • Where analysis of maintenance data indicates a need to carry out work, this information must be communicated to the engineering team and included in the planned maintenance schedules

Maintenance planner:

  • Facilitate and lead the planned maintenance pre-meeting
  • Work required, problems to be addressed and resource requirements must be discussed
  • Plan all required work on the planned maintenance schedule
  • Ad hoc tasks should be included and prioritized, and relevant works requests generated
  • Determine resource requirements to complete work and assign tasks to specific resources
  • Interaction with departmental heads to obtain resources may be required
  • Partake in planned maintenance period in support of maintenance team and assist with problem solving, work prioritization and resource re-allocation
  • Reschedule incomplete work to the next planned maintenance period and capture all required information from planned maintenance period on the maintenance systems
  • Facilitate and lead the maintenance post mortems. Problems encountered, opportunities identified, and lessons learned should be discussed

Problem solving:

  • Where problems have occurred during routine and planned maintenance activities, apply the correct problem-solving approach to resolve
  • Where required, call in additional resources to assist in problem solving or escalate to engineer for direction
  • Assist fellow team members to resolve problems on request
  • Take part, as functional expert, in FFA’s on request

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years Production Engineering experience with 3 years in supervisory level
  • PC literate (Proficiency in Microsoft Project/Microsoft Office Applications)

​The Key Purpose of this role is to manage regulatory, public and excise tax policy for the Greater Africa Zone Markets (Nigeria, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia, Uganda, Botswana, and Ghana).   • Project manage the public policy and tax optimization project, collaborating with Zone and Markets Tax and Corporate Affairs teams focusing on deliverable of KPI-based outcomes as per project plan.
