Job Description:
As our Commercial Analystof your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Supply “over cost” expenditure information as Finance requires in a timely and justified manner through the analyses of monthly cost reports to eliminate deviation from the budget.
- Provide financial calculations to facilitate cost/capital consideration in service strategies.

- Collate discipline financial inputs across disciplines on behalf of the Specialist Operational Finance.

Job Description:
As Laboratory Assistant you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Collect samples from various areas in the plant, including raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, to ensure quality control and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Receive samples sent by clients and ensure proper labelling and storage to prevent cross-contamination and maintain sample integrity.
- Lift and handle samples and equipment carefully to prevent accidents and ensure safety in the workplace.
- Operate the LDV (laser diffraction particle size analyser) to measure particle size distribution and provide accurate analysis results.
- Dry samples in the drying oven to remove moisture and prevent microbial growth, which could affect the accuracy of the analysis.
- Weigh samples using a balance to determine the exact weight and ensure consistency in the analysis process.
- Sieve samples for PSD (particle size distribution) analysis to determine the size distribution of particles in the sample.
- Crush samples to reduce the particle size and ensure uniformity in the analysis process.
- Mill samples to create a homogenous powder for analysis, which is beneficial for chemical and elemental analysis.
- Press samples when required to create pellets for X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis, a non-destructive method for elemental analysis.
This role is in the Laboratory at a Band 9/P5 level reporting to the Supervisor Laboratory.

- Maintain an inventory of facilities, equipment and infrastructure that must be inspected regularly in the assigned area of responsibility.

Job Description:
- Contribute to a culture of zero harm by adhering to all requirements as laid down by legislation and health, safety, environmental and security policies and procedures, and by the application of specific instructions to own work area and task completion.

Job Description:
The Tax Technology & Transformation Specialist will support the delivery of a critical Group Tax initiative to ensure Anglo American is ready to meet its Tax Compliance and Reporting obligations under the recently introduced Global Minimum Tax regime known as “Pillar 2”.
In this global role, the Tax Technology & Transformation Specialist will manage the first implementation of Group Tax’s Global Pillar 2 Compliance and Reporting processes, technology and data mapping solution for our Singapore-based entities in readiness for meeting our Pillar 2 compliance obligations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work with the Pillar project leadership to define and manage against a plan of work to deliver Pillar 2 data, process and technology solutions to Singapore.
- Working alongside the Pillar 2 SME to continually monitor and interpret the Pillar 2 model rules and translate into up to date source data requirements that are applicable for Anglo American in Singapore.
- Working collaboratively with the business Finance and Tax teams to ensure data requirements are understood, gather a complete set of Pillar 2 data mappings from finance source systems (primarily SAP), lead reconciliations to test and validate data mappings, and identify any source data gaps and required remediations.
- Partner with Finance and Global/Local IM teams to design fit for purpose finance system (SAP) enhancements, process remediations (ITP, ITC and RTR) and data remediations in line with the Anglo American group data standards to address any source data gaps identified, and ensure the required changes are effectively implemented, tested, delivered and signed-off by the business.
- Work alongside IM and Finance teams to ensure the successful first deployment of the Global Tax Compliance & Reporting solution to Singapore, ensuring data mappings are correctly implemented, tested and signed off and provide the necessary outputs to feed downstream Pillar 2 Compliance and Reporting processes
- Work with, and sometimes manage, related internal and third party supplier team(s) to deliver the required outcomes.
- Provide regular updates to the Pillar 2 project leadership, the Tax Technology Lead, AsiaPac Tax Operations Principal and Tax Reporting Principal, escalating challenges where required.
- Liaise with Group and Business Finance teams, Tax teams, Finance Operations and IM teams to define detailed requirements, complete the process and technology design and deliver the outcomes required.
- Provide updates as required to the Steering Committee and the Tax Leadership Team.
- Engage with related tax transformation workstream leads to identify dependencies and opportunities for alignment.
Qualifications:
- A strong knowledge of international Tax Compliance and Reporting processes, principles and deliverables, with preferably some experience of Pillar 2
- Knowledge of tax and finance technologies, including SAP, systems of tax reporting, tax compliance and analytics
- Functional experience of Tax transformation, and working knowledge of the Global Finance Taxonomy (particularly RTR, ITP and ITC)
- Prior experience in design and development of Finance process taxonomies, including hands-on experience of business process design
- Prior experience of managing key deliverables in a technology enabled transformational change project, with significant Finance and ERP (SAP) components.
