LECTURER: EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT

Requirements
- At least a relevant recognized three-year qualification (REQV13)
- Qualification in education and training
- Qualified to lecture in subjects in the relevant programme
- At least 2 years educational experience
- Experience in Blended learning, i.e. innovative teaching practices with the use of educational technology
- SACE registration
- Ability to teach in English
- Proven computer training in MS Office
- Good administrative skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to assess and moderate
- A valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for lecturing the following subjects and/ or any other subjects if required:
- Art and Science of Teaching Level 2 – Level 4
- Early Childhood Development: Theory Level 2 – Level 4
- Learning Psychology Level 2 – Level 4
- Life Orientation: Life Skills Level 2 – Level 4
- WPBL: Participate in Workplace exposure relevant to the programmes

Recommendations
- Knowledge of the TVET Sector
- Registered as an Assessor and Moderator
- Multilingualism will be an advantage
- Teaching or Training experience in an industrial environment
