Commercial Director Mr Price Money

Job Description

You’ll craft and oversee the commercial strategy, ensuring seamless planning and execution of all commercial activities and new product development across the Credit, Insurance and Value Added services product pillars. 

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve revenue growth targets, whilst managing overall profitability of this vertical.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor insight to identify key risks/opportunities whilst building a response in collaboration with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Monitor the achievement of Financial Services KPIs and Operating Metrics and report these to the executive and management team.

  • Collaboration with external partners and internal stakeholders to manage the overall commercial profitability of both existing and new products across both the credit, insurance and VAS verticals.
  • Lead a Commercial team and collaborate with other functional areas to implement opportunities.

Market Research

  • Conduct market and competitor research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the BI team to implement and manage overall customer profitability 

Risk Management

  • Develop and manage commercial agreements with customers and vendors, including pricing, terms, and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to commercial activities, including customer data privacy regulations.
  • Work closely with the Risk team to manage commercial profitability versus risk within the Financial Services Business.

Team Management

  • Lead and support your Commercial team to deliver on department KPIs.
  • Drive succession, training, and development within the team to ensure resource capability and business continuity.
  • Maintain a healthy and culturally aligned team.

Qualifications

  • CA(SA)    
  • 10 years of senior management experience in Banking and/or Financial Services (with at least 7+ years working in Credit and Insurance). 
  • Insurance Accreditations such as RE1 and RE5 are preferable
  • High-level expertise in, and detailed understanding of several different specialist areas within a function               
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at various levels internal and external

Job Description

To ensure the provision of world- class sourcing of merchandise and suppliers to support the merchandise strategy and eliminate unnecessary cost thereby delivering best value to delight our customers. 

Responsibilities

– Monitor and analyse key metrics across the sourcing value chain in order to measure supplier performance and highlight potential risks to the business 


– Participate in developing  and implementing  a short and long term Resource strategy to support the business strategy and merchandise direction 

– Build strategic supplier relationships and identify new partnerships for long term sustainability. – Oversee the critical path management up to handover to forwarder date  in order to ensure on time delivery of merchandise and correct product execution. Work closely with the Resource coordinator on finding proactive solutions to mitigate any delivery delay impact on the business. Partner with respective merchants in reacting to the trading environment in order to maximise sales   

– Identify new product and fabric developments in the global market and how they could be adapted for the local market in order to remain relevant and to maximise additional profitability opportunities
 

Qualifications

– A completed degree or diploma preferably in Procurement, Sourcing or Clothing Management

– 1-3 years sourcing experience

– MS office (Excel)

Inventory Lead Mr Price Group

Job Description

Mr Price Group Logistics is seeking an Inventory lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our inventory management function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing of inventory across multiple warehouses/divisions; management of cycle count function; management of DC self-audit process.

Responsibilities

·       Inventory Management Compiles, verifies and reports statistical information regarding inventory trends to support actionable recommendations.

·       Identify inventory records/transactions, ensure that inventory balanced, and is accurately maintained in all systems, making appropriate inventory adjustments.

·       Oversees inventory warehouse management system (WMS) to analyse deliveries, shipments and stock levels. Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.

·       Analyses daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages. Provide operational support to the warehouse teams (across all group warehouses/ DCs).

·       Inventory Cycle Count: Support the efforts of cycle counts by identifying and correcting stock discrepancies for any location or items.

·       Optimise overall location and item level accuracy. Drafting inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data. 

·       Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control.

·       Support audits of inventory policies and procedures and financial processes.

·       Conducting the self-audit process and sending results timeously to relevant stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures.

·       Manage Workflows by effectively training, motivating and monitoring inventory staff activities.

·       To monitor performance (in relevant areas) according to agreed standards operating procedure and take necessary

Qualifications

• NQF level 7 (bachelor’s e.g. BA, Bcom, BSc or equivalent 3-year degree)

• 3-5 years’ experience in a distribution and warehouse environment

What does a Brand Visual Merchandiser do? They grow market share and maximize sales through the development of seasonal VM initiatives which supports the VM strategy and take ownership of the brand to create a world-class shopping experience. Responsibilities

  Merchandise Layouts & Presentations:
