Electrical Engineering diploma (N6/S4) Light Current (at least NQF level 6)

3 Years relevant experience at Operational level.
Ex-/ Current Telkom Full Time Bursars, learnerships and internships candidates will be exempted from the 3 years’ experience requirements but must have a minimum of 12 months relevant experience.
Special Requirements:
Valid climbing and/or fall arrest certificate or must be prepared to undergo fall arrest training.
Valid medical clearance certificate/ Be prepared to undergo Medical clearance certificate testing.
No fear of heights (Masts & Towers – fall arrest, rescue & rope access).
Must remain physically fit to climb.
Not colour blind.
Must be able to work after hours, including overtime, call out and stand-by.
Able to function in stressful environment.

Core Description
Be part of a team of finance business intelligence data analysts that solve a variety of Use Cases across Telkom Consumer & SMB and its customers. Primary role of the Junior BI analyst is to employ the evolving BI intelligence tools and frameworks (SQL Server, Microsoft SSIS, SSRA, SSAS, PowerBI, Python etc.) to assist the team to solve the problems that have been uncovered.
Job Responsibilities
Employed Evolving Data Intelligence Tools and Frameworks
Write processes that solve problems using Stored Procedures
Programming solutions using languages (SQL, Python etc.)
Sourcing requirements from the customer
Testing scenario integrity
Unit testing solutions
Implementing solutions at customer
Work closely with Telkom teams, including network operations, sales, and product management, to provide financial BI reports and automated dashboarding.
Support senior analysts in translating financial intelligence into actionable recommendations for leadership.
Facilitate communication between finance, IT, and business teams to align financial objectives with Telkom strategies.
Document user requirements
Compile Functional Design Specification (If required) for BI solution
Ensure financial reports align with Telkom standards
Monitor compliance with financial policies and practices
Support audit processes by providing accurate and well-documented financial data for Telkom operations.

Design/ specification of information presentation interface
Develop and support interactive platforms on cloud to enable financial team to collaborate and provide insights on financial performance, including ARPU (Average Revenue Per User), churn, traffic analysis.
