Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Projects and Maintenance Coordinator
Context & Environment
Job Purpose: To ensure full technical, operational, engineering and regulatory compliance across TGSA depots, distributor sites and customer installations by:
- Monitoring, auditing, verifying and coordinating adherence to TGSA standards, TotalEnergies Group rules, and South African legislation
- Ensuring all maintenance, engineering, project and asset documentation meets legal, group and internal governance requirements.
- Supporting technical teams through structured compliance programs aligned to OneMaestro, Integrity Management, Project Governance, and SANS regulations.
Activities
Compliance Monitoring & Verification:
- Conduct compliance audits against TGSA/TotalEnergies standards, HSE policies, SANS codes and OHS Act requirements.
- Verify technical integrity compliance including SECE and SCBs, loop tests, Compliance Inspections and MX Tool and Daisy Records
- Check and confirm documentation compliance and completeness for all installations, refurbishments and equipment replacements.
- Verify that maintenance activities follow regulatory frequency requirements as well as OEM recommendations.
- Verify that all reports received from Suppliers and Contractors have been reviewed by relevant personal (maintenance engineers or maintenance planners) and an action plan is in place in Intelex.
- Ensure all customer and depot compliance certificates are valid, current and correctly filed.
- Check that SAP PM master data (functional locations, materials, equipment) remains compliant and up to date.
- Verify that CASM is updated after every refurbishment and project completion.
Technical Integrity Compliance:
- Support sites in response to downgraded modes, integrity threats and audit findings by ensuring an action plan is put in plan and followed
- Verify alignment to engineering specifications and Management Of Change requirements.
- Coordinate Safety Critical inspections and ensure non-conformance closure in audits is monitored
Regulatory Compliance Management:Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, including:
- OHS Act and Regulations,
- SANS Codes (10087 series, pressure equipment, tank revalidation),
- Local authority approvals and by-laws,
- Pressure Equipment Regulations
Contractor Compliance Oversight:
- Verify the LPG Technical Team are making use of compliant Suppliers/Contractors (Comply-works, ICC Audits, LPGSA Accreditations)
- Verify that the LPG Technical Team is conducting their Quarterly Contractor Owner Meetings
Reporting, Systems and KPI Management:
- Intelex: Weekly Reporting

Support, Training and Advisory

RELIEF PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Context & Environment
In a production environment of continuous improvement. Maintain sound relationships across the L.M.P chain.
Activities
Productivity / Delivery
To ensure the safe, efficient, continuous operation of the lube & grease plant, and to effectively manage all the activities of the production plant according to the product requirements.
Effectively optimizing the use of production resources.
Manage and administration of production documents in terms of Safety, health and Environment.
Preparation and distribution of required production reports.
Responsible for the implementation of Waste Management Systems.
Finance
To manage and control overtime.
To control manufacturing variances within the acceptable limits.
Inventory Management
To ensure stock losses/gains are kept within acceptable tolerances.
HSEQ
To ensure all staff are in compliance with all HSEQ policies and procedures.
Maintain good housekeeping and the safety of the plant.
Knowledge of ISO 50001, IATF 16949, One Maestro and ISO 9001
Conduct safety and poster talks.
People Management
To set objectives and do staff appraisals /reviews.
Identify staff training needs and request in – house and external training.
Ensuring execution of routine Plant Safety Inspection.
Training of operators on Work instructions, tasks and procedures.
Candidate Profile
Diploma in production, Chem Eng or equivalent
Two years working experience in a production environment.
Two years experience in leading and managing in a unionised environment.
Good understand of the general operation of emergency response equipment.
Good organisation and planning skills.
Working knowledge of the SAP system.
Computer literate with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
