SECURITY PRACTITIONER

Location:
Dudfield Operation, Lichtenburg, North West Province
Responsibilities:
- Inspections of cameras and random inspections with the appointed security company on fences.
- Legal compliance with regards to PSIRA and SAIDSA.
- Ensure cameras are functioning and are efficient for the purpose. Availability of cameras
must exceed 90%. - Research, discuss and implement approved improvement initiatives.
- Develop and safe keeping of all statistical reports, documentation and records with regards to security
management - Perform weekly meetings and liaise with the appointed security company and assess their performance
against the approved KPI. - Ensure contractual compliance of the appointed security company continuously.
- Gr 12
- Must be in possession of valid PSIRA grade B registration.
- Computer literate Ms Package and logging incidents on SAP is essential
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in security management and asset protection is essential
- Experience in liaising with SAPS, specific with regard to crime prevention and community outrages is
essential - Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
- It will be an advantage if the candidate have:
- Experience in camera installation, set-up and maintenance
- Experience in network setup and configuration.
- Good understanding of CCTV cabling, power supplies, cameras, DVR’s/NVR’s, network switches and power
requirements. - Valid Code 08 Driver’s License
- Must be declared medically fit after medical examination.
Skills and Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of Hikvision, Milestone, Dahua and other CCTV systems
Good understanding of CCTV cabling, power supplies, cameras, DVR’s/NVR’s, network switches and
power requirements

Location:
Bellville Depot, Western Cape.
Responsibilities:
All warehouse duties with specific focus on offloading and loading of palletised cement, bulk bags and
offloading, stock / pallets stacking in the yard.
Loading transporter vehicles per correct weight distribution for the truck and per Traffic Road
Regulations.
Reporting breakages and missing bags.
Ensuring the correct product type, product packaging and quantity is loaded in accordance with
authority to load.
Assisting with the re-bagging and repacking of cement as per the set procedures.
Operating the forklift to move palletised products within optimal timeframes.
Maintaining Safety, Health and Environmental standards.
Experience and Qualifications:
Grade 12/ Amended Senior Certificate/ NCV Level 4/ Technical Matric – N3 (4 technical subjects + 2
official languages).
Forklift driver’s license
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a related industry preferably with experience in the operating
bulk handling equipment, and driving a forklift.
Very proficient in operating the bulk handling equipment.
Skills and Knowledge:
Good knowledge of forklift operation
Good knowledge of all required Depot safety practices.
Good knowledge of safe pallet stacking procedure.
Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental risks.

Roodepoort Plant, Johannesburg
Responsibilities:
Maintaining assigned mechanical equipment in accordance with operational maintenance strategy to
key performance targets.
Repairing breakdowns on assigned mechanical equipment to reduce production down time on a daily
basis
Executing Corrective Maintenance or Preventive Maintenance tasks in accordance with the prescribed
Strategy.
Executing work duties in accordance with legal regulations and company policy and procedures
Completing administrative tasks by utilising SAP
Maintaining Safety, Health and Environmental standards
Participating in the Maintenance Team’s initiatives to set and meet continuous improvement targets
Experience and Qualifications:
Qualified Fitter, or Qualified Fitter and Turner
3 years’ experience in heavy industry
Experience in cement plant will be advantageous
Sufficient knowledge of heavy industry equipment to do proper plant inspection, maintenance and
repairs
Valid Driver’s license
Skills and knowledge:
Sufficient knowledge of cement plant equipment to do proper plant inspection, maintenance and repairs.
People skills for working in a team environment.
