Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Winding Engine Driver to join their mining company based in the Free State. You will be responsible for safely operating winding equipment to transport personnel and materials while ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate winding equipment to safely hoist and lower personnel, materials and ore in accordance with safety standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and respond to operational issues, alarms and emergency situations.
• Conduct routine operational checks and record logbook entries, stoppages and incidents.
• Identify and report mechanical or electrical faults and support basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, procedures and operating instructions.
• Participate in inspections, audits and safety risk assessments.
• Report incidents, abnormalities and equipment defects to relevant supervision.
• Maintain safe working practices and ensure adherence to operational procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate of Competency
• Onsetter Certificate
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Winding Engine Driver on AC and DC machines within an underground mining environment
• Valid Driver’s License

Senior Toolmaker

Job Description

A leading plastics and packaging company is looking for an experienced Senior Toolmaker with strong experience in plastic injection moulding, CNC programming, mould repair and maintenance, and new mould manufacturing to join their team in Johannesburg for a 3 month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and manufacturing high-quality plastic injection moulds while ensuring optimal tooling performance within a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture new plastic injection moulds
• Conduct mould repairs and preventative maintenance on plastic injection moulds
• Program and operate 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machines
• Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Interpret and create CAD drawings and designs
• Troubleshoot tooling and hot runner system issues
• Ensure tooling quality, accuracy, and production efficiency
• Work with CNC machine controllers including Siemens and Fanuc
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime

Requirements:

• Certified Trade Tested Toolmaker
• Proven experience within the plastic injection moulding industry
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Experience with mould repair and maintenance
• Experience manufacturing new plastic injection moulds
• CNC programming experience on 3-axis and/or 4-axis CNC machines
• Proficient in CAD drawing and design
• Experience working with hot runner systems and related electrical components
• Strong knowledge of Edgecam and/or Mastercam
• Experience with Siemens and Fanuc CNC controllers
• Available for a 3-month contract opportunity

Key Performance Areas:

• Debtors & Creditors: Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
• Invoicing & POs: Raise invoices for the sales team and generate purchase orders efficiently.
• Financial Reconciliations: Perform petty cash reconciliations and update credit applications and reports.
• Commission Calculations: Collate and calculate commission for the sales team with high precision.
• Reporting & Admin: Undertake a variety of financial reporting tasks and support the broader team with essential administrative execution.
