OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
Provides specialist geotechnical engineering support and services for underground operations and projects across the AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) African Business Unit. - Has developed and verified ground support designs for underground development

Director, Procurement – Organic Growth
Responsible for providing strategic leadership and execution of all Project Commercial activities across AGA’s Organic Growth and Tailings capital project portfolio, spanning multiple regions and project types including, for example, mill expansions, infrastructure relocations, plant upgrades, TSF construction, TSF wall raises, and dry-stack facility builds. This role serves as the primary commercial interface and partner to Projects leadership (SVP Global Projects, VP Organic Growth, and VP Tailings), developing and executing portfolio-level commercial strategies while directly driving contracting, procurement, negotiations, and contractor management across priority projects. Will lead complex commercial negotiations, oversee end-to-end procurement execution (from strategy through P2P and post-award management). Key Accountabilities
- Own the full spectrum of commercial accountability for the Organic Growth and Tailings capital project portfolio, encompassing governance, strategic oversight, and assurance of commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

As the Manager Technical Reporting, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and governance of the Group’s accounting policies and directives, including non-GAAP financial reporting frameworks. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior management and finance teams across multiple geographies, ensuring consistent, accurate, and compliant application of IFRS and US GAAP standards.
This role requires expert knowledge of technical accounting issues with a focus on complex transactions such as acquisitions, disposals, restructuring, and financing arrangements. Role Accountabilities

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

Group Strategic Planning (GSP) adds value to AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) by providing strategic insights into individual assets, assessing major external investment opportunities, and improving decision-making across the portfolio. Role Purpose:

Accountabilities:
- Provide support and technical knowledge for paste fill planning and operations including input and advice to all operations and projects, driving continuous improvement in fill planning, operational execution, and safety practices as part of operational excellence.

About You

- A minimum of 10 years working experience in the mining industry across varying paste fill plant operations
- Strong analytical capability to troubleshoot and resolve critical paste plant and delivery system disruptions in operational environments.
- Advanced skills in paste fill related Mine design optimisation and QA/QC implementation from the plant to the stope.
- Demonstrated delivery of paste fill solutions, understanding of paste plant automation and control systems, and implementation of continuous improvements to support the short term and strategic mine plans
- Commercial acumen relevant to the role including financial reporting and exposure to contracts and contract management
- Demonstrated capability in organising work, setting priorities, and exercising sound independent judgement and preparedness to take a well-reasoned stand on matters of importance.
- A natural ability to lead and work effectively with high performers and with internal and external technical teams.
- A cultural awareness and willingness to explore and embrace different cultures and values
- Highly effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels within our organisation and interact with high-performing professional teams
- Preparedness to undertake extensive business travel
- A degree qualification in a relevant mining-related Engineering or other technical discipline is desirable
- Able to provide a current National Police Clearance
